Hi all.

I'm brand new to the CS (all I've done so far is building a custom house ala the CS Wiki), and would like to try my hand at a little bit of retexturing.

In specific, I would like to learn how to create a set of Amber Armor from the Shivering Isles plugin that is all white instead of golden.

How would I go about doing this?

retexturing is a bit different than modding and uses other tools -- There is a http://cs.elderscrolls.com/constwiki/index.php/Retex_Guide that goes through what is needed and would be a good starting point (it goes through retexturing a mushroom but the sa,e could be done using the Amber Armor pieces instead (though you'd also need to be able to repeat the steps for each piece of armor so keep track of the steps you take while doing one piece and repeat for the others - so that the end result has colors that match each other so that they look like a set !)
