Rethan Manor

Post » Wed May 02, 2012 7:08 pm

So I'm the proud owner of freshly constructed Rethan Manor. It seems very nice. Is the place mine? Can I leave stuff around or in containers safely, knowing that no one'll touch my stuff? I assume so but would be grateful if someone could please confirm this (I should hope so after paying 5k gold to get it set up!)?

Feel free to drop by the manor if you're passing. We'll smoke some skooma.

All the containers within the actual manor (not the side shops or homes) should be safe to do which what you want. Personally, it's my favorite property in all of Morrowind. Just a gentle walk away from the Balmora party scene as well.

Rethan Manor's containers are safe, as are all other containers in Morrowind. Non-safe containers didn't appear until Oblivion.

Plus, it has the lovely Ascadian Isles plant life. It's also fun to pretend you lord over Hla Oad.

There are plenty of "dangerous" containers in Morrowind, in the sense that if you put stuff in them and take it back out, it gets marked as stolen.

Rethan Manor actually isn't that great as is probably the weakest stronghold and has the least amount of storage among the three strongholds.

The manor is yours and you can do as you please. Although I′d prefer Tel Uvirith.

@Cider: I must disagree, Rethan Manor has the chests and the sacks on the first floor. Tel Uvurith has less storage room.

Umm, no. Very minor spoiler:

Spoiler
There's a permanent corpse downstairs at Tel Uvirith. That means infinite space to store items. That's as good a safe as any for us... more experimental Magicka users.

Congrats on your first manor! Keep on playing the Hlaalu though! ;)

House Telvanni!
I would suggest playing with Building Up Uvirith's Legacy.
Anyone know of good expansion mods for the other houses?

If you want it to be 100% safe you might as well drop stuff on the floor.

Skooma is better when consumed like the Nord Mead or the Imperial Brandy, or the Dunmer Pisswater for that matter. Smoke such a fine thing and you will find it only as sweet as your lungs can hold. J'rahzir prefers raw Moonsugar, however.

Sugarbrained cat. The Dunmer are the only race that can truly appreciate the complexities of a beverage. Most humans prefer matze or sujamma, but I, as a cultured Telvanni lord, prefer a Vintage Brandy.

Oh, so does Khajiit! Ever notice how sometimes things go missing in Dunmer Mushroom house? *wink*

Ah, this Khajiit sees one has caught lesser Khajiit. Only means the better Khajiit shall repopulate. Joy for all, save the Khajiit who are dead. *Wide grin*

Joy for none, as it is one less slave we have. Oh, well, there are always more. I think one with a nice large http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Mane would be nice.

Khajiit sees what you have done. Forgive J'rahzir if he purrs like a kitten, but if Dunmer were to take the hide of a Mane, then Dunmer has proven his worth. J'rahzir wishes the Dunmer... EVER so much luck. He thinks the Dunmer shall need it.

Considering they are such sugarcrazed fat housecats, I don't think it would be as hard as a mudcrab.

I've fought mudcrabs harder than a mane.

Has the Dunmer fought the largest Bull Netch in the forest with a fork?
