I set both Sydney and Charon to non-essential, used increased increased spawns, increased global damage, made a no stimpack rule for myself, and then went to those 3 satellite towers with all of the raiders. Charon was the only survivor. I then got rid of everything Fallout 3 related from my computer, and ended up freeing about 18 gigs because of all of my mods.

Wow I wonder what Charon will do now as no one holds his contract.

My FO3 character's missions have only begun, having started a new character just a few weeks ago. But once he's done, he'll spend the rest of his days in Megaton.

If I still had my others?

Ellen Gibson would be living in her Arlington home.

Cassidy would stick around Minefield.

Rick Dunners would be in Tenpenny Tower.

Genghis Zhou would be living in Vault 106, having accidentally shut the door without checking to make sure there was a switch INDOORS that open it again. He later goes insane and begins to believe he's back in Vault 101 and has never left at all.

Im going to go on some suicide mission, setting things on Very Hard, and just going in the middle of the places more populated with enemies (any suggestions?) with as much guns, armor and ammo, and simply emptying them on the enemies till I eventually run out. Then, Im just gonna use melee till they break, then my own fists. Eventually stimpacks will run out, and I will have to die. I think it's a good way to put down all my characters.

All except one. My main is coming with me to Vegas. :D

Maybe you should just do a massive campaign throughout all of downtown DC.

My character will walk into GNR, kill Three Dog, and use the station to alert all her raider followers that the revolution has begon. Then the screen will fade to black.

Sounds good. Or how about I start zig-zagging the entire map? Then go to PL and do the same there. (If I survive until then, which I doubt :P)

If you really want to say good bye to them, delete their files before you do the suicide run. That way it won't be somewhat...diminished to see a picture of them pre-suicide run.

But I would do it even classier. Take all the mines possible and lay then around the vicinity of Megaton Bomb. Then jump on top of the Bomb (from a higher ledge), take out a missle launcher and shoot.

You're gonna die, so might as well take some people (including Cromwell) with you. Time of the Division indeed.

My main character is going to spend the rest of his days as a Brotherhood member in the Citadel. The Megaton house will remain fully stocked, of course.

As for my secondary, she's not really intended to work well with authority, so she's probably gonna live it up in Megaton and go out and beat Raider and Super Mutant ass occasionally. Hanging out with Reilly's Rangers or working out of the Lincoln Monument are also definite possibilities.

@ HolyAssassin- Evergreen Mills, The Citadel, Fort Bannister, and The Pitt (if you sided with the raiders only, just go there and start shooting them up) come to mind. Probably recommended that you get the Increased Spawns thing to make sure there's enough of them to take you on. :P

Well, let's see... I have three main characters in play, essentially.

Ares, my slaving evildoer (grew up in Lamplight, got thrown out for "romancing" Trinnie, and promptly hauled butt to Paradise Falls to get into the lucrative skin trade), set his longtime companion Jericho up in Megaton with half of the 15,000+ caps they amassed together. Then, with no one with him, he redeemed himself by starting the purifier with no add-ons. Although his karma was at Neutral when he died, his sacrifice grants him some measure of redemption. His irradiated remains were given an hororable burial next to James (who became his mentor after a chance encounter in Vault 112).

Crystal, my hot high-class Tenpenny orphan (left the tower after finding out of the plans to destroy Megaton), remains suspended in a Savegame just shy of the final decision. I am of the mind that if you have no radiation-proof follower, and you turn on the purifier yourself, it is a noble, heroic act. If you have such a follower, then turning on the purifier yourself is a pointless act of suicide. Since I am not given to pointless suicides, I will play out Crystal's ultimate fate when and only when I have Broken Steel. This may occur before or after I get my hands on New Vegas.

Daniel, my working class hero, is ion much the same sitaution. However, he's taken the opportunity to pretty much clean up the wasteland (along with his stalwart followers, Fawkes and Cross). I expect that once he gets the purifier turned on, he'll set to sowing the seeds of renewed civilization. Then, when his work is done, he and his two followers will climb aboard their salvaged vertibird and fly off into the irradiated sunset, in search of their next adventure.

Sorry if this is long I got quite a few characters.

Jordan-(My Main) After many years of helping the Brotherhood and carrying on James legacy he became extreamly homesick for the vault. Sadly when he went back to it he was locked out for good. So he waited for months outside of it waiting for some kind of reply, and finally he got one. He was allowed in the vault on one condition he has to find the scource of a message sent by a man named House from New Vegas. So he grabbed a few basic items and asked the Brotherhood to let him use a vertibird to fly west. Of course they said yes but now he has to do a few favors for them. Starting with finding the Western Brotherhood. So at the momment he is flying west towards New Vegas with the thought of home on his mind.

Jack- During his time in the wasteland he became very wealthy(mostly because he was a merc group leader) and decided to live out the rest of his life buying small towns and turning them into trade hubs. I will make him retire in Tenpenny Tower afterwards and live out the rest of his life in saftey and comfort with his old friend Dashwood.

Tony- After spending his whole life in the Mafia working for Tenpenny he became his new right hand man after Mr. Burkes unexpected death... ;) After owning most of the capital wasteland Tenpenny wanted to move westward. One day a messanger came to the tower and said that a man named Benny wanted to have a meeting with Tenpenny in New Vegas about business, because of Tenpennys age he sent Tony to work out a deal. You can already tell how that turned out just by the beginning of New Vegas.

Bill- (My hunter) Will retire back to his shack in Point Lookout and let his boys do the hunting for him while he just lives out his days sitting on his porch with, Dogmeat, moonshine, and a loaded Double Barrel Shotgun.

James- During his time in the Enclave James became a very high ranking officer. After taking over the wasteland the Enclave sent a single eyebot out west to gather as much information as possible for them. After it was shot down he was sent with a small squad to retrive it and continue it's orginal job of scouting the west coast.

I have two characters:

one is a good hero and explorer (in the vein of Herbert Dashwood), he will probably settle down a lot. Still venturing into the wastes to hunt and right some wrongs but will be seen around Megaton helping support the town and occasionally in the Citadel helping his friends in the Brotherhood of Steel. Maybe he will go talk to Moriarty and help set Gob free and give him a few adventures in the wasteland (there's a few places on the map left to see and still some raiders out and about)

The other is more neutral: he will do almost anything if paid to do it (he blew up Megaton) but if it's not part of his contract he will try to act good. He will probably continue hunting down a few people for money for as long as he can.

snip

I hope you know that you're going to have to blatantly ignore a lot of what will be said in New Vegas (about the nature of the courier job and probably more than that) if you continue those roleplays.

My character, Timmy the Smelly, still has a lot of life left in him. Which is kinda odd to say, considering he is a ghoul...The fact of the matter is though, I've still got a long way to go before I can give him the proper closure that he deserves. And I'll record every bit of it.

I don't think I'll do anything with my characters. I haven't been keeping track of Fallout NV for a while so the release date kinda just snuck up on me, only 2 more weeks! I was going to do another playthrough but I just finished one 2 months ago and I don't want to get burned out on the FO3 engine so I might just leave things as they are.

If anything I'll just delete my characters and FO3 from my 360's hard drive since I have the standard 60GB one and need the space.
