If a quest item is stuck in your inventory even after completing the quest, and you get the patch, can it now be dropped?

Also, if you've got the Gildergreen glitch and get the patch, does the tree then appear as it's supposed to?


...Or do you recomend doing these quests after consoles get the patch?
