I killed a dragon and all of a sudden a Quest appeared in Misc. It just says "return to esbern."

but when talking to esbern i got a new Quest called Paarthunax or something like that but "return to esbern" still is there.

A bit of googling and I still dont know what that quest is. Does it appear after u kill a certain amount of dragons?
What is the reward for the q?

I have gotten this too. I would go back to him and say "xxx at soso place has been slain". So I guess it is a broken Radiant Story quest.

Try taking the bones and scales from that dragon because once I got that quest again, I had the option to give those to him and the quest finished...

He tells you to get him either a dragon bone and scale. He'll make you a potion that gives you...

You get Blade′s Potion Buff that way. Its a 25% Meleedamage Reduction from Dragons. Afterwards you have him give you the Dragonslayer Buff, which gives an extra 10% Critchance against Dragons for a few Hours.

i havent got a quest that says "get bones and scales" or anything like that.
i just randomly killed a dragon and got this radiant quest.

so i have no idea what the quest is about and no idea how to complete it.

It's not a bug. Esbern will give you quests to kill specific dragons located at word walls. However, you can't turn in the quest unless you kill Paarthurnax because the Blades refuse to help you if you don't do their stupid bidding.

My advice? Ignore them. Not worth killing Paarthurnax just to turn in a quest for some gold.
