Oh god, if that's actually true than I might as well pre-order right now :P

Anyone notice the Scar and the Scar AB? Maybe it's the different skin variations...

Keep in mind that crysis wars was made by the crytek studio in germany and crysis 2 is made by crytek uk (former free radical studio) and these guys dont have any experience on open terrain based modes and games . Timesplitters was a fun console game and not even realistic one cause u got double shotgun and stuff ;p So from that said u can assume why no power struggle and more casual game modes .
Correction, Crytek UK is doing the multiplayer.

One guy from russian site found some interesting in Crysis 2 demo files. Maybe lie, maybe not, I don't know:

List of MP modes:

Maybe not all will available after release.

All files have prefix cw2.

Hmm... It's need verification...

All that is listed is true, someone uploaded the 360 files from the crysis 2 demo online :)

What I am wondering though... Is if Crytek is going to actually use all those modes or not, or if they plan to change it on release day.

Co-op? Yeah right. Too good to be true. Even if the list is real, I doubt they're implementing all that. Didn't they say there would be six multiplayer modes?

Yeah I recall that, which I was I was wondering if Crytek is going to actually use all those modes listed in the files :D

But the files them self are true, majority if not all are encrypted so we cant get anymore detail then the very basic.

CW2 looks for me like Crysis Wars 2. Maybe they'll add a MP addon to download with this name. Would be possible ;D Just wait and see.

Maybe They would make a "Crysis 2 Wars" with power struggle inside.

I Think its the best MP Mode Ever, The Bunker wars, all going for E4 (Mesa), The VTOLS, Alien Weapons And Nukes, The strategy, the reinforcement trucks, snipers, tanks.

All I ever wanted.

LAME It's PvP, 6 vs 6. I Play in the Noobhunters server, 20 x 20 MESA. Love it.

i really hope that game modes list is true, maybe they already have the files ready for some later dlc or such
i hope so and it really is a good deal for crytek, why not making a 'good stuff from cw' dlc with things like more players, vehicles, bigger maps and power struggle that are already made, they kind of just need to port it and it would be a win-win situation, we would get this things officially which means stats support and they would make some more money out of it, i cant see why not
maybe we need to make a topic on this with a pool when the game comes out ;)

What would be the point of a Crysis Wars 2?

Crysis Wars was only ever really a patch to the original Crysis, with Warhead pretty much being $15 DLC, with Wars being the other half as a DLC pack.

Crysis Wars should have never existed if Crytek kept their word of continued support. All Crysis Wars ever was, was a 1.3 - 1.3.5. patch era for the original Crysis which should have been free.

Hopefully Power Struggle is added to the full game rather than being included in a DLC. That would be extremely disheartening.

I would love if power struggle came back. I even feel that the urban environment is good for it because of the extra cover and the going into buildings transforming the world into a smaller place. For example if I was playing on a map based off of central park (hint hint) all of the capture points could be inside a few buildings or covered areas. Once you got in their it would be like a smaller map (like the size of that skyline) with more confined sightlines and movement. You could capture it and head out to return to massive sandbox gameplay that the game is known for. This would be an instant purchase from me. Either way the game still looks great. :)

You wouldn't need seperate maps for the insides of buildings. It would all be on one map.

I spend most of my time in single player. And as for this multiplayer which is horrible...I give it until the next CoD comes out on consoles to die. And as for PC's I see it lingering on, just barely but still there.
