Return to Skyrim

If you guys are not aware, the GTA V online servers are currently in a really bad state, and need some major fixing before it will become playable. Not knowing how long this is going to take, I was thinking of some games I could play in the mean time.

The first one that came to mind was Oblivion, beings I've done about ever possible thing you can in that game I ruled that one out. Skyrim was the next game that popped into my head. As much as I loved Oblivion, I just never caught interest in Skyrim. This could be due to the (In my opinion) poor writing (The Dark Brotherhood was about the only quest line I actually got into, which the ending dissapointed me), but mainly the bugs that this game was filled with in the PS3 version. My question to you guys, does the PS3 version have less bugs the it originally did now that we're about 2 years after it's release? The game just felt really clunky and awkward to play, maybe this is the game itself and not bugs whatsoever.

I would go out and pick up Skyrim for Xbox 360 (my preferred console) if I knew I was actually going to play the game. But, if this is only a temporary thing until the GTA servers are fixed, I think I'll stick to PS3 for now.
P.S- first time on the forums in about a year, it's been awhile :)

Not sure if your referring to the PS3 version of Oblivion but I had the X360 version. It felt perfect to me.

Fus Do Rah casual.............Lol jk.

Skyrim has fixed many bugs since release on all platforms, but there are obviously going to still be bugs regardless. Still worth playing though, but everyone at the end of the day has their preferences.

The PS3 version is a lot smoother with the 1.9 patch.

You also to disable all autosaves, learn to save often, and the most important part IMO, is to play janitor.

Glad to hear. What exactly do you mean by playing "janitor"?

Pick up weapons that fall from the hands of slain enemies. Do not leave their weapons or shields laying around.

Besides what I mentioned earlier with the disabling of autosaves, you also have to pick up weapons off of the people you kill.

Weapons don't clean up, and because they don't, it eventually causes your savefile to bloat up. So after every battle, loot all bodies and when you're near over encumbered, store it all into one body. I normally press loot all (square) when searching looting enemies. Do this indoors and outdoors.

Trust me, your savefile will be pretty low, and that's a good thing. My last character was level 58, 100 hours and with a 10MB file. That's pretty good IMO.
