[RELz] Revenants for Undeads: Arise from Death

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 9:16 pm

For the update of Undeads: Arise from Death, mummies, zombies and ghouls now are "revenants": every time they are killed, there is a 50% they resurrect (weaker) if you touch them or next time you come next to them. So, they may be killed several times, before the definitive death.

Looks good, but I have a few questions:
1) Are the zombies/mummies new creatures? If so, will they still use the same old Corpus-Stalker mesh, or will you be giving them a new look?
2)What would happen if we used the "Dispose of Corpse" function? I'd say that it would defeat the purpose of this mod.
3)Will you create an optional add-on which puts the bone-walkers back? I know you've removed and I understand your reasons, but I like them.

1) they are new creatures. ZOmbies are using the old corprus stalker (that is really a zombie, if you ask me). I provided an alternate model for the corprus stalker, downlodable from the same page. Mummies are retextured corprus stalker, but I am working on a new model that will replace it.
2) you cannot dispose them, until they are definitely death. If you try to activate a revenant, and it is not yet dead, this will make it raise again.
3) the bonewalers are not named "Ghouls"; they can be summoned as usual, and they may also be foun in tombs etc...
Their statistics have changed, now they can paralize, carry infections; they are also revenants.

Very, very nice.

And continuing the trend of excellent mods from Arcimaestro Anteres!

Well done!

I have to say you make some of the coolest little mods around.

Question for you though. You say this is incompatible with Undead 4....whatever. I understand that is built into MCA5.2. If your mod comes later (since it adds more, I would rather use yours) could yours work in conjunction? Or am I misunderstanding the MCA thing? I have actually been known to be incorrect from time to time.

My mod modify the leveled lists of undeads, so the other mods that modify these leveled lists (like The Undead by Neoptolemus) are incompatible with mine.
I could make a compatible version, depending upon The Undead by Neo, but I decided to work only on the independent version, because I often update my plugins, and if I keep multiple esps for each mod, then I have to update multiple esps everytime I want to introduco or modify something in a mod.
