So has anyone else decided to pick up this awesome game? I don't like most tower defence games, but oh boy is this one amazing. So much more fast paced, and with so much too do it really keeps you on your toes. It's not quite so passive as a traditional one. Not to mention the art/music is amazing, really makes it feel epic. Here is an http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HU38NjxisLw trailer. There is also a demo for the game on their http://www.puppygames.net/. Anyone else play it? So far I just got to mars, and oh boy what a challenge. I barely made it this far, my skills are being pushed to the max to micro everything. Then again I am on the hardest setting.

Be prepared for mind-screwing solutions to the later levels. They are glorious.
I've played the game during beta, when you still had to pay for upgrades. That was not very well balanced. Now it's fine. Currently awaiting my Steam code, but the puppies can take their time with that, until cloud and achievements are done. ^_^

Also, if you like the faster pace and horde style tower defence more, check out Harvest: Massive Encounter. Only four kinds of defences, but so much to do.

I'll be honest I generally detest most TD games. Well... all of them barring this one. It just seems to have got it right for some reason, but I'll look into it. I'm hardly an expert on the genre may be more hidden gems out there.

Edit
For the longest time I was building refineries first and then placing buildings. No, I have no idea how the hell I got to mars.

I got it as part of the Humble Indie Bundle #2, but have yet to play it. Maybe I'll get around to installing it soon.
