Reverse Pick pocket echanted items

I was told by a friend that you can make ncps sleep forever by reverse pickpocketing items with decrease fatigue on them, then punching them. This doesn't work for me, why? How can i do this?

Reverse pickpocketing only works with zero-weight items. I would suggest you use something like a Mage's Hood (zero-weight, enchantable, easily obtained) if you want to give NPCs cursed items, and also rename it to something like "aaa Cursed Hood" because when an NPC has two items deemed "equally good" the one that comes first alphabetically wins, and you want the NPC to equip your cursed hood.

Wow I finally realized what I needed to do, Permanent bound items glitch. That way I could get the followers to wear the armor with drain fatigue. :celebration:

I tried to reverse pickpocket a bound claymore on the adoring fan. He had it strapped on his back, then it disappeared. What gives?

Is it possible that he used the weapon and wore its durability down to zero? If so, he would consider the weapon broken and drop it on the ground.

Is that even possible? Can NPCs drop bound weapons when the PC can't?

You can create a 'permabound' item via glitch on PS3/Xbox, or PC without UOP. If you are on PC with UOP, you can simply command console in a permabound item. When I command console in a permabound item, it is not droppable until I also command console its status to 'nonquest item'.

Since permabound items can be rendered droppable and weigh zero, they can be reverse pick pocketed. Since OP has already sorted out how to reverse pickpocket a bound claymore to his fan, I'm sure he is using a permabound weapon.
