AJ is just a complete joke, he gave Witcher 3 a 10/10 BEST GAME EVA!!!!!!!!!!!!! He';s struggling to get press nowadays without hating on Nintendo, and now of course Fallout 4 because he's an attention seeker. The guy lost it in 2011 but was watchable prior to this. Also, he's not funny at all but seems to think his awful sarcastic humour is hilarious.

You don't think the Witcher 3 is a 10/10 game? Everything I've heard is to the contrary. The consensus seems to be that it will probably take GOTY over this one. Unfortunate, perhaps, but that game does seem to have a stronger story.

I'll wait for Total Biscuit's video, if he makes one. He pays more attention to PC engine issues and performance.

Though yeah, Joe has humor :hehe:

I agree with him a lot here but on graphics. Considering how many thing go on in this game the graphics are fine.

It all comes down to passion and engagement, which FO4 is missing. Do you really want to make an awesome game, a true epic experience like Witcher 3?

Or recycle an old game, add a few tweaks, remove some things, keep the old bugs, floating characters, bad animations, etc.? The passion is missing, this images sums it up quite nicely.

He already admit he has a bias for CDPR as it is. After all he even has his own voiced role in the game.

As for AJ himself, I don't mind him. Sometimes he acts childish, but he makes good enough points most of the time. And of course humor.

Think I'll watch the review right now since I'm waiting for classes for another hour or so. Hopefully it doesn't spoil too much.

TW3 is a 8 at best to me. Most people consider The Last of Us a masterpiece but I think it's a very good game but far from a masterpiece. It's subjective.

bethesda games are not graphics showcases, its like having a car with a fancy paint job, it can be a hunk of crap with with the fancy paint job people are blown away, well fallout isn't about graphics, its about a massive world with a huge amount of content for exploration and just lots of nooks and crannies, building complex/dungeons to get lost in, i prefer content over graphics and you can't have it all, fallout 4 is the game of decade in my opinion, bethesda is good at world building and combat

Morrowind and Oblivion were pretty video card melting for their time. The water in Morrowind is legend.

Just watched it. This is why I trust Angry Joe more than most reviewers, he is passionate but fair, both praising what is great and pointing out the games very obvious flaws that needs to be fixed. A very balanced review and IMO a well deserved score.

I saw a review that called Fallout 4 near a near perfect and I went: Hah!

I am one of the old school fans who is really liking what I'm seeing and the major disappointment I have is obviously the simplified dialogue system but much of it is justified in universe.

Hint: PTSD.

One the other hand: Silver Shroud!

To each their own. I like Joe and respect his opinion because its usually spot on. I like his humor, though it can be corny at times. My only issue with him is he doesnt seem to be producing nearly as much content as he did a few years ago.

AJ is awesome and one of the very few refreshing reviewers out there unafraid to tell it like it is. He clearly works very hard and deserves all the success he has achieved. Your jealousy is quite transparent.

And yet every flaw in Fallout 4 is in FO3, Oblivion, Skyrim and New Vegas( not Bethseda game I know). What gaves those games passion and a epic experience that Fallout 4 lack? Fallout 4 does everything better but dialogue ( it's still better then Skyrim's).

I'd actually counter that with: considering how many things are copy-pasted the graphics could be a little better. There's a lot of recycled content and systems in this game, not to mention the wasteland itself didn't really have any major design changes. There's quite a bit of stuff that they no longer have to concept for, so I question exactly what were they doing with all this development time that they didn't have to spend on building a universe? Obviously it was engine-related to get it on next-gen, so why is it so weak?

Don't get me wrong, it's still beautiful. However, it's beautiful in the same way that Skyrim and NV were beautiful, not something that really made my eyes pop out of their sockets when I first saw the landscape.

I am watching his review now and the stuff he says is pretty accurate. He and I disagree on the strength and the direction of the story, but everything else is pretty objective and not at all based in emotion as one would expect from an 'angry' review.

I've been following AJ for a while and overall like his reviews. Not boring and seem to be more honest than most. He'll certainly tell EA what money grabbing [censored]s they are in his reviews.

I certainly agree with everything he said here, especially the dialog part which has been a thorn in my side since I started playing. FO4 definitely plays like it's on a game engine that is stretched beyond it's limits, which concerns me as it means that just patching the game isn't going to fix most the problems we have. A overworked game engine is an overworked game engine, you just can't fix that very easily. The dialog system is a 'FEATURE' not a bug, so not much they can do in that department either. There is just a lot to explore ... that's what the game has going for it, that's what will keep me coming back, but little of anything else.

Not surprised about the extraordinary fanaticism coming from that guy. Thst amount of blind praise is beyond laughable. But I've already determined he is something not to be taken seriously as a source at all long before anyway.

I agree with him on every point. Like the elevators are ridiculous. And the graphics do svck compared to other games. in fact, using a ENB, my Skyrim beats the hell out of this game graphically (and with all the mods best it's on every issues).

But before I pass judgement I'm waiting for all the mods.

But those parts move around. Unlike TW3. Just because they are copy paste means nothing.

Actually with did Bethesda copy Bioware with the dialog system? When DAI hit, there were huge threads on the forums complaining about the dialog. And Bethesda thought it was good?

I used to like him when, you know, he was actually angry. Now he is just another generic, loud youtube reviewer, of which I have absolutely no interest. I don't need someone to tell me whats right or wrong about the game that I've already put 60 hours in. His last decent review was either Watch_Dogs or some other crappy port that made him lose his sh**.

The lighting in this game is pretty groundbreaking. Your nose produces a shadow on your face.

Solid review by Angryjoe - I share his views and opinions on the game. Especially the bit about the dialogue.

It really is like a streamlined DAI dialogue wheel. Though, I personally feel that the final review should have been lower because of this dialogue: 6-7/10. The dialogue is detrimental to the game.
