This is just a little overview/review of what I think of Crysis 3 both SP and MP.

Crysis 3 review (Xbox 360 version)



As we know Crysis 3 takes 20+ years after Crysis 2.

Cell has taken over the world.

And it's up to Propfet and the Rebels to fight against Cell and the remaining Ceph...



Graphics
-------
First thing I noticed about Crysis 3 is how beautiful it is. Even this late on consoles, Crysis 3 fits itself as once again the Best Looking Game of the Year. But once in awhile there are a few pop-in's but Crysis 3 on console still looks Amazing. Even more on PC but thats a different story.

Story
----
As Propfet gets awaken by Psycho and his fellow rebels. Propfet sees a different world one that has changed below him. Visions of the Alpha Ceph start to come back warning a destroyed world.

As soon as Propfet is given a gun things start to speed up.

Gameplay
--------
If you played Crysis 1 and 2 things aren't that different HUD wise and control mechanics. Maybe a few new quick options but thats about it.

Crysis 3 also runs smoother than Crysis 2. While there's still some hick-ups at checkpoints the game runs better and faster.

As the Nano Suit at your use it's a WMD suit of stealth and power to use against your attackers.

Armor, stealth and power are your main abilities. You can find upgrades and perks for your suit with which one being a great help later on.

While tactical options are no longer in Crysis 3. The game wants you to decide your own tactical skills to use. But as fun as it is it's also one of the issues in the game. Most of the time I found myself between two Cell soldiers and my options were weak ether run n' gun like I did in the rest of the game. Or wait out and let my cloak charge up. These are a few of many hard options in the game but once you get to know Crysis 3 you will soon be a true predator of jungle New York City. And play by the game Crysis 3 will reward you for playing like a stealthy super-soldier. But remember Crysis 3 is about how to engage your enemy, how not to go all ninja on everyone.

Weapons
-------

Crysis 3 has a wide amount of weapons and gear at your side a new addition to the series is weapons like the Typhoon and the X-Pac Motor both human and alien weapons feel good and strong.

AI
--

Like Crysis 2. AI is on the funny side, with both Cell and Ceph, not always responding to the moment and making AI look dumb.
Some will bump into walls and some won't move making them easy targets and most of the time they'll just stand there like if there saying "Kill me". But one feature I liked was when the enemy knows there teammates are being killed they'll act scared and freaked out. Making it funner to kill knowing they fear the almighty Propfet. Lol

Overall Single-player of Crysis 3 won't disappoint you one bit. Good characters, weapons, elements and story are all what makes Crysis 3 a perfect example of a Sc-fi shooter done right.



As a Crysis nut I wasn't a big fan of Crysis 2's MP balance issues and lag got the best of it.
But I'm proud to say Crysis 3 is a big improvement over C2 but some lag issues due linger around. But it's a fun and enjoyable time and a hell of a fun one with friends.

Maps, Loadouts and weapons make C3 MP very fun.

Though it wouldn't hurt to do a patch on the Predator Bow.

I said my point...

A new feature to MP is Hunter mode where one team of Cell are hunted down by Hunter units. If you die from a hunters bow you spawn as one and help hunt down the others. It's a genus way to create a mode for Crysis 3 both fun and full of rage.



Multiplayer for Crysis 3 has TDM, Crashsite/Spears, Deathmatch and Capture Relay including the awesome Hunter mode.


This is far one of the best game of 2013.

If you love Predator or Crysis then you'll sure have fun in Crysis 3.

Great Job Crytek on this awesome game! In the future maybe a few more patches and I may bump it up to a 4.5/5 stars...
