Just wanted to chime in quick. Im running a brink server, and playing the game on same machine. You can check out my machine on my sig below, its the first video. Onto mini review.

I had goton brink(PC) the day it released at gamestop, waited till it was closing about half hour before it closed before I decided I wanted it. I got it, waited 3 days till today to open it because of how the reviews were and the complaints. I just want to state off the bat that I'm giving it 10/10. I like everything about it, but more so for me cause I can run a server and play on it all same time in steam. The capture points, to special abilities, to giving out ammo and reviving, to the play style all fit me well, it reminds me of splash damages first game they did with wolfenstien only the playability isnt as good but its up there. I don't think there is any game that plays as quick and fun as wolfenstiends enemy territory.

So there it is, take it for what you will. Im glad I opened my box today and just now jumped in for 3 hours or so, along with the few I played ealier today. My server has been full and were all having good time, all though some ppl are still complaining of bits of lag but I dont think there is a problem.

I can agree with that only if they fix the main bugs. but i wont give it a 10/10. when i first played it,
i gave it a 6/10 but few days later i got the hang of reviving, engeneering, and all objectives and realized how much potential it has, so then i bumped it up to a 8/10

It didnt take me but few minutes to catch on to what the game had to offer, well few 5 or 6 matches or so. Its all good, fun...

This game is awesome. I have only experienced slight spots of lag.
This ranks up there with BC2 for me, and that game pretty much made all other games obsolete.
Will definitely be occupied until BF3. Freakin' INTENSE battles over the objectives. Loving it.

Loses half a point for no lobby, and half for the so-so AI, but I hear that will be changed soon.

I love this game, too, so my official rating is 17 mallards.

You might question how I reached that number of mallards, but I assure you my rating systems is mathematically sound to issue the corresponding amount of mallards in relation to the level of enjoyment

yea Im using the pc version. I know alot of the videos on youtube with the xbox being the majority of them, I think ppl dont like it as much on xbox for the simple fact that it lags a bit since its so new they havent figured ou the xbox i dont think quite yet all the way but I dont think that should deture from the rating of the game personally.

@rocksalt lol mallards must be an ingenious rating system. You should let the review websites know about it so we can switch over.

I gotta agree, I'm still working on several different review types for this particular game, I have my "first impressions" review out right now, and I gave the game a 8.5/10 although I don't exactly like using numbers to state if a game is good or not. But, so far I'm keeping my score at exactly 8 or 8.5, the variety is alittle lacking but still fun, and the AI are the only real problem. But that was a campaign/co-op review and I have played the MP part of it and say the game is still somewhere in the same area as before, except with jumps of lag here and there.

wel generally speaking, its fresh to be honest. You get in the game, and your greeted with all this nice art work and you start exploring the different options of your character. That feels real good and makes a good early impression. Then you start your game up, and after 3 or 4 hours you kinda start to get the general feel of what your trying to acomplish. Buying new things like abilities is fun and learning the game is fun from the little time Iv played it.

But its not the same as battlefield or cod. It has its own unique feel to it which makes it special and is not something easily done. The gameplay is very well done in my own opinion. It reminded me a few hours in of just how similar it is to wolfenstien:enemy territory and that gream is a cult classic.

I really hope no one enjoys this guys reviews because i couldnt listen to his monotone disgusting voice for over 30 seconds. PLUS he has NO idea what hes talking about . calling objects or points in the game "Thingys" and "Stuff" jesus im gonna start Reviewing my games and just say its and ok game it has some cool thingys and some neet stuff but make sure you check out my youtube channel so i can try to become Famous of youtube instead of doing some hard work for a living and just glide my way through life because im lazy like that .
all these people trying to make money off of no talent or copy other people to try to make and eazy buck with likeness rights on YT . there are some cool ones out there and we dont need a million of them . and igotta say man . YOU are def one of the worst out there. :shrug:

It was my first time playing the game. Besides who are you to critize, you got 5 posts and have no info what so ever in your profile, no name creep. stay out of my life, no need to be harmfull to me.

Also i dont work for a review website, its my own personal review, I dont have to sound yippy for you if im tired or any other way. No one has ever commented on my voice and Iv always been told I sound just fine. Maybee make your own videos and reviews that way you will know what it feels like when scumbags like yourself ruin it.

Also I got all my info layed out, i got 4 instant messengers and my youtube channel for anyone to connect to me also my steam account eycel. If you got prob then bring it [censored] no need to post crappy replys to one review out of 100, go watch the other 1000 brink reviews if you dont like myn.

Maybee you missed the first person that posted on my review video, they gave me a compliment on the video, psycho. I can say I will be a sad person the next time I run into you or anyone that is as even remotely similar to you. Your inappropriate,bias,hateful, and generally a big bummer and downer to read the type of stuff you have to say. I'm scared to even live life when people like you violently attack the nature of who i am and my livelihood. Your a nasty control freak, of the worst kind.
