Waste of money..
Ok, to start i LOOOVEEE the open world environment of fallout 3, it was beautiful, With this game, im sry, but THERE SHOULD NEVER be Any invisible walls EVER in a open world game. i dont give a flying #$% if you wanted to make it more linear for a story driven game, i dont care if u put them in for the npcs nev meshing, or w/e its called. i walked 3 inches and found myself next to one of these walls. Then you tell us you can remove them with a simple mod or what not. Are you @#$%ing kidding me? you give us this pile of dog crap game and then tell us that u can fix if our selves with a simple mod most people don't know where to get to how to install. This is a joke do you guys Even test your own game?! i will update this post later when i try to get through most of the later game...If i can i hope theres no invis walls in my way!

I haven't come across any invisible walls so they're obviously not that numerous. Don't see how they rate the game a 5/10, though.

True, but fallout 3 was and still is a COMPLETE joke in terms of story, gameplay and the game is even a laughing matter at very hard.

I'll take New Vegas (obsidian) any day over Fallout 3.

I just hope bethseda won't have nothing to do with fallout in the future.

I wonder what you rated fallout 3 then? The downtown DC district was full of invisible walls (also known as collision boxes)I remember opening up the G.E.C.K to do some editing and seeing all of them, I almost had a seizure. It wasn't something that you'd see so often in Oblivion.

5/10 is a little harsh for collision boxes, wouldn't you agree?

I'd even give it higher than a 5/10, even though arbitrary numerical scores are silly.

There's a great game to be had here, but because no one at Obsidian knows basic C++ it would seem, it's got more bugs than the Everglades. The length is pathetic, I finished the game, on hard and hardcoe mode, at Level 23. Totally and completely inexcusable bugs, terrible quest scripting, and performance issues that shouldn't be there, this game may end up as the new Fallout series' Simon's Quest.

The developer who delays is one that is to be encouraged. The one that releases steaming nuggets of [censored] like this is one to be chastised.

Trying to go from point A to point B in DC was a joke. I liked that there was a well done metro system, but it should have been more of an option for instance, 1. fight 1,000 super mutants (since downtown was "crawling" with them) or 2. use an old metro tunnel.

To say that collision walls in New Vegas are restrictive in comparison is selective recall.

However, that doesn't take away from the fact collision walls do exist in New Vegas. Stated that they existed in FO3 is only half the argument, they shouldn't be there at all.

*sigh*

This guy joined today to create this one and only thread, he logged off 10 minutes after joining.
Now, piece together this info.
Don't feed him.

Oh wait, he's back! (he's looking through this thread.)
Mind explaining your opinion in a little more detail?

You're generous. There's a lot of good in this game, but that is irrelevant for those that have a glitchy game, so I'll give it a double score:

Reality: 2/10, with 1 point added for potential;

What it could be: 7/10, with 1 point deducted for doing silly things such as altering the third person zoom out feature, and claiming it was sought after by players (check the F3 boards if you don't believe me).

In summary, adapted the F3 style very well to a complementary game, let down by bringing across known bugs and problems identified following the release of Broken Steel for F3. Good storyline, with a good range of choices for the player, and increased environmental choices, such as firearms and supplies, etc.

But if you like Fallout 3 and this is just more of it then what's the bad thing?
And it's not a smaller area to explore really, it just seems small because of how the map is divided.
And the textures, well, they can be bad, but I don't play games for their graphics. :)

Ummm... You guys must have really f'ed up game consoles or PCs because today I played for 10 hours straight and didn't run into a single invisible wall and I only got 1 minor freeze that lasted all of 10 second. I'd give this game a 10/10 but what is my opinion worth?

Huh.

This game has better environments, better writing, more voice actors, better voice acting, more interesting storyline, etc...and the game is worse than Fallout 3? Fallout 3 was a joke when it came to the writing sometimes. New Vegas is a fat superior game.

The only really bad bug I had was at Black Mountain which fixed itself after I reloaded a save.
So no, I have no idea what it is you're complaining about.
Are there more bugs on the PC or PS3?
