Yes the diablo games are awesome

They are some of the best games ever. Although if you are new to the series I would just start from diablo 2. It is a better game than number 1 in pretty much every way and if you need to know the story just look it up somewhere.

I compare it to FO1 and FO2. I replay FO2 more than FO1 because of all the improvements to gameplay and the larger variety in the game world, even though I like the story in FO1 much better. It looks like New Vegas will pull a FO2 on FO3 and even have a better story to boot, so FO3 is likely to go years and years before I replay it again.

Good point. Since we're getting the beefed up version of FO3, it may lessen the appeal of returning to FO3. I started playing FO2 before FO because of the same reasoning. Why just have ice cream when you can have cake and ice cream.

Though sentiment and nostalgia are powerful things. I still enjoy a good game of Galaga. :)

Oh man I know right? Sometimes I'll find myself reciting some of my favorite dialogue spoken by characters when the time comes x_x

Also, your list

Just finally beat it.
I hate Frank Horrigan, still havent killed him.
Got bored of it and just gave up.
Eagerly waiting.
Never Played it.
Fun game love it.

I am pretty close to beating FO1
Haha I accidently totally failed and sold one of the parts to fix the tanker. :shakeshead: I haven't played since
Tactics got frustrating for me and I quit, but I will give it another chance.
On the verge of cardiac arrest waiting
Never played it either
I haven't played this either but I will buy both Elder Scroll CE games when the initial NV playthrough is over, I don't want to burn out like FO3.

even if FNV is amazing, FO3 will be my favorite game ever, i remember getting it for christmas 2 years ago, having no idea about the game at all and once i stepped out of that vault..wow. i played hundreds of hours on that game, i played yesterday some and while i still can play, its not the same, to still be playing a game after 2 whole year, that is incredible, i will return to FO3 in the future but it is about FNV now. As someone who is too young to have played FO1 AND FO2, i can say FO3 has been the greatest thing i have ever played

I played Diablo 2, back in the days :D Yeah it was another good game of its time. I most definitely played in more than Fo3 :) I am looking forward to Diablo 3. Though I don't have my hopes up. In recent years I have noticed a steady decline in games replay value due to how good the graphics are. I have also noticed games being dumbed down so the "average" gamer can finished them, and congratulate themselves on a job well done. I waited 8 years for Fo3 to come out.. I only just pre ordered my copy of Fo3 NV today because of massive disappointment incurred at the end of Fo3, and I only ever did play one expansion pack "The Pitt" All in all I am cautiously hopeful to see this game do better than it's rebirth in 2008. I have thought time to time, perhaps it would be nice to see the first two remastered in 3d, but keeping the general game the same in regards to quests, add some new features like tinkering with weapons, some new quests perhaps. But maybe it is just better to let such classics live on in the memories of youth :)
