Revisting Metal Gear Solid 4 : Othor Games

I haven't revisited it in a while. I have so many games I still need to beat. However, I would love to have a marathon of sorts and play through the four main Metal Gear Solid games probably in this order: 3, 1, 2, 4.

No Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2, Portable Ops or peace walker?

Not canon.

Still AC!D and AC!D 2 are very good games.

For no alert should I just kill the guards? What's the biggest diff between tranq dart vs suppressed ?

Tranq. Darts:
Good: Use to put enemies to sleep so you can get by.
Bad: The enemy might/or could get woken up if left alone and could sound an alarm making sneaking around that much harder.

Suppressed Handgun or Weapon.
Good: The enemy will never see you comming and they're gone for good.
Bad: If you don't hide the body this too will sound an alarm if the enemy scouts find the dead body...again making sneaking around that much harder.

MGS4 was a pompous mess...

snake eater is infinatly better... it was a much more gritty badass experience.

in MGS4 you began with gadgets to make james bond jealous.

in MSG3 you were sent into the jungle with only a knife and binoculars.
