Rex! Bad Dog!

Don't block the doorway Rex!

Rex - I'm trying to be stealthy! Sit! Stop barking and running in like mad towards those Deathclaws! SIT!

Bad dog!

Rex! You're blocking the doorway again! It's Fallout 1 Dogmeat all over again! Except this is 2010!

Rex! Don't attack those Cazadors Rex... REX! Heel! HEEL!

Rex! Why are you attacking Veronica?? She's our friend! Bad Dog!

Rex, why have you suddenly disappeared entirely from the game?

BAD DOG!

Yeah, I got rid of him right after he almost got me killed by Cadazores.

This was so funny to read, rofl.
Anyways, yeah Rex is annoying from time to time, he's always, ALWAYS blocking the doorway, and sometimes he suddenly disappeares from the game, but he never attacked Veronica, and I used to use her while I used Rex aswell.

Fallout New Vegas feels just like a beta, so many bugs.

i find rex's perk awesome, but he does not follow what you tell him to do, telling him to not attack until you have does nothing he just attacks what ever he wants and he is always barking! i took him out with me on one quest and right after i was done i told him to wait in my penthouse and i haven't taken him out since.

That happened me three or four times before I got wise :D

It's so hard to let him go though, he's just so cute with his little glowing brainbox!

He is not so bad, but does get in the way and cause trouble. I have parked him back with Old Lady Gibson - she did provide the brain for him. ;)

Yeah, he looks cool. But him and ED-E are both bloodthirsty little robots. At least Cass will shut the hell up and sneak when I do :D

It makes me lol really hard, if you go into casinos and sit down at the table next to any gambler wearing a hat; Rex will instantly run up to him and one shot the poor guy rofl!

I found your post funny and telling the truth.

Really I would suggest not taking him anywhere. I like him and all that but he is just not a very good follower.

Haha, so true, so true.

I prefer ED-E mostly because he does nothing but make beeping noises, but somehow still shows the affection that Rex should be showing. Fascinating really.

I like to bring him with me because he wont equip weapons and use up ammo I give him like a human companion will but ugh... he is so good at getting himself killed. Every single time I get into a fight I find myself worrying more about Rex getting surrounded and pummeled, or just getting in the way of my shots than what is actually going down in the fight. :banghead:

I like to keep him around too, but have so many problems with him disappearing, and there is a certain quest I really want to take him on and I get halfway there, turn around to check where Rex is only to find him vanished.

My rex is a reliable pooch

I told him to wait at bittersprings, and then while traveling i forgot i had left him there and this is when i was deep inside vault 34 and getting my ass creamed by some rude ghouls.. well neways long story short i enter the armoury and their he is, reliable and couragous as ever right by my side through thick and thin, i didnt even go back to get him yet he mustve sensed i was in trouble so he came back and helped me and raul kick some ghost butt.

Rex is pretty reliable for me but I did shoot him in the ass with my AMR a couple of times. I had an asbolute picture perfect face shot lined up on a giant radscorp, what was going to be a perfect one shot sneak attack kill, and he jumped out there charging towards it.

I got my one shot kill all right.....but it wasn't a scorpion.
