RFNAlcoveBasin

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:04 am

Ok, I am still building my fort int. I found a static item called RFNAlcoveBasin so i put it in the render window to see what it looked like.

i saw that is has very transparent water spout looking things. so i put it in my fort thinking, it must fill the basin up with water or somthing.

in the game it looked the same, (you could barly see the water spouts) i was dissipointed.

What is RFNAlcoveBasin used for... what are the phantom water spouts for?

Also, does any one know of a good plase to downlod meshes from?

--Thanks!

That is indeed a strange mesh. Never noticed the transparency in game. It looks like it was an accident. The shading behind the spouts has transparency, probably they put in one alpha property too much. I wonder whether the UOP fixes that.

To see how objects are used you can use the 'use info' function (right-click on the object in the object window). You can see a list of cells where the object is used in then. Double-click on one of the listed cells and the CS will load the cell and move to the object (and select it).

UOP?

Unofficial Oblivion Patch- It fixes a LOT of glitches in the game (currently over 1,800). You can get it http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5296.
