Hello fellow players! (Companion quest spoilers)

I have found this weird and kind of creepy bug. I just returned to Whiterun from Gallows Rock after you first become a Werewolf, i was doing some shopping and smithing when i finally went to Jorrvaskr and to my surprise in the Living Quarters lay dead in underwear Ria and Njada Stonearm, both carrying nothing at all.

I never encountered this bug before, and oh man! How unfortunate it is to find severe bugs like these (while not game breaking, it's still severe to me). After seaching on the web i encountered few people with a similar issue, but with no solution.

When loading previous saves (before becoming a Werewolf and way before) Ria and Njada are nowhere to be found, i then used "player.moveto" to find them once and for all only to be moved to a room with a cross shape and find them again both lying dead and with underwear only in the center of the room. There are two stone coffins there, one is named after Njada Stonearm. And Malborn was there as well, in underwear but alive.

I went back to my last save where i was doing the first Companion mission that Farkas gives but the result was the same Ria and Njada were already gone.

What is the cause of this? The only mods i have installed are the Unofficial Patches and other misc mods like faster horses, better torches, clanking armor, run for your lives, when vampires attack, SKYUI, etc.

About Njada Stonearm

• If Njada dies before the Dragonborn begins the Companions quest-line, her dead body may be found on the floor of the living quarters of Jorrvaskr. Other characters finding her body there will be heard saying, "I'm going to find who did this!".
• If she is killed before the Dragonborn joins the Companions, she may respawn after the Dragonborn becomes Harbinger. (confirmed on PS3)

It could be a bug where Njada starts a brawl with another companion and weopons get drawn leading to a lethal ending, so I am assuming this could be what happened here.

About Ria

Sometimes, she will appear dead at random locations. These locations don't have to be in norma areas; when using one of the glitches, Ria was discovered dead on the floor.

You can try:

Click on the desired body, then type the command "resurrect" (without the quotes). The NPC will then be living, with all normal behaviors and a reset inventory. To avoid resetting the NPC's inventory type "resurrect 1".

Alternatively you can also try the "recycleactor" (without the quotes) command with the NPC selected.

Alright, i have been reading about resurrect and recycleactor.

What would be the best course of action? To resurrect them or keep them dead?

Also, out of experience would it best to use resurrect or recycleactor?

I ask because i would like to have them back but i would rather not risk having unwanted side effects. I was thinking on restarting but i already have like 25 hours into the game.

You could marry those two ladies, or recruit as a follower. But that's all about. So it's up to you...

Make a save and try resurrect 1 - and if something funny happens try the recycleactor command.
