As you may be aware, to unlock certain special quests for the thieve's guild, you need to do smaller jobs--5 in each of 4 special holds. Even 20 of these repetitive, busywork quests seem ridiculous to me. However, these jobs are assigned at random, and quests done in holds you've already completed don't count. Due to some terrible luck on my part, I would have had to do 75 of these to unlock all 4 of the special quests. Fortunately you can refuse these quests, so I didn't have to do all of them, but it's still a huge pain in the neck that subtracts from your "quests completed" total. Right now I've done -29 Thieve's guild quests.....

This needs to be fixed!

Yeah, when I start the Thieves Guild again, I'm writing down how many jobs I did in what Hold, to minimize doing those repetitive quests.

Yeah man my quest journal says -17 quests completed from me forfeiting those...
