Riekling quest... : V

After bringing the boar back, the quest does not update to the next stage when i talk to the Chief, it's just an endless cycle of him saying i did not bring the boar back, yet then saying i did and he wants red grass... yet the quest does not update. Tried reloading previous saves, tried removing alchemical items that looked like red grass prior to talking to him, but to no avail.

I'm having this same problem. Anyway to get this fixed? Or does it get added to the endless amounts of bugs that never get resolved?

It may sound stupid but did you try bringing him the 10 Scathecraw he asks for? (He says Red Grass, but it's Scathecraw, you can find enough on Raven Rock)

Did you lead the boar into the pen outside the mead hall?

I thought the quest was glitching for me as well but it was because I led the boar to the hall and went straight inside to speak with the chief. It wasn't until I led the boar specifically to the pen that the quest updated and I was able to speak to the chief about it.

I brought the boar specifically into the pen. That 1st part registers just fine, the problem is that the chief keeps repeating the dialogue for the 2nd part of the quest. I'm so irritated by this bug that I might just go back and side with the nords just to wipe these guys off the face of Tamriel. Honestly though, I was looking forward to being a clanleader of little blue gnomes, but I guess i get left out of all the fun. Ah well, thanks for ruining it whoever coded this quest.

Yup, several times, still the same thing and same as the above, the quest updates and tells you to talk to the Chief, but it doesn't update when you do and your stuck in an infinite loop of him asking you to get red grass and saying you having brought the boar back.
