Which of the to merc's do you pefer the most? Rielys Rangers or Talon Company for me personally i'd go with Talon Company because of there numbers, numbers really work for me pluse the Capital Wasteland being as it is the extra arm could be useful, unlike Rielys Rangers, Talon Company have spread out settlements all around the Capital Wasteland so places to re-arm and rest are not difficult to find.

i like reillys rangers.... not only did they give me their cool ranger battle armor, but they dont try to AMBUSH ME every 20 minutes when i fast travel lol

Reilly's rangers are an entirely different type of organization from Talon Co. So there are few grounds for this poll.

Reilly's Rangers. I wear their Battle Armor with pride.

They are both merc companies, and both describe themselves so.

I wouldn't really call the Rangers a company -- more of an elite band. And they call themselves mercs, but really they specialize in mapping and exploring.
So, really, you can't really compare them, but I'd say Reilly's group are actually better fighters but there's only like, what, five of them? That's including the Lone Wanderer if he joins up. I'm amazed they've done so well with those numbers, to be honest.

And sorry, but I HATE Brick. She just really, really annoys me. It's either the voice, or the fact I hate women like that who act all tough. I'm not being sixist, as some of the more solid women -- Sydney, Sarah Lyons -- are okay in my book... but Brick. Hate.

Talon Co. They give me free armor, laser rifles, combat shotguns, and CAR's to my goodie goodie character. Very nice of them indeed :gun:

Rielly's Rangers can never seem to part ways with the combat armour they give me lol.

Reily's Rangers, because they're not psychotic like those Talon Company freaks. I used to wear their armor, until I accidentally used it to repair some other Combat Armor.

In my game there is only Reilly and Butcher left because Brick died in the quest and I killed Donovan myself. I don't see them much because they are hostile, but apart from that I quite like them. Although I don't think they are hostile towards me for killing Donovan, no. I think they were quite pleased about that because I read that Butcher and Reilly slept together, so now I think they just want to be left alone. :hubbahubba:

I could not agree more. The Ranger have no right to call themselves anymore then a elite band, and even that is going on a bit of a stretch. Sure, Brick SEEMS tough, but even she is not match for an entire army of Talon Co. Mercs. Talon Co. is much more diverse, more spread out, and have more then four members. :facepalm: I enjoy Talon Co. as a valuable ally, and after paying a little visit to there HQ, There leader withdrew from his position of power and offered it to me.

I tend to prefer reily's rangers just due to the fact that they'r enot trying to kill me all of the time.

I know how you feel, when I lost my Ranger's Combat armor guess who I killed for another set?

I wear my set of Reilly's Ranger Armor as I hunt down the wicked with Lincoln's Repeater as my righteous arm of justice to dole out punishment. :tops:

I have no time for Reilly's Rangers. They are either asleep on the job or hiding somewhere or other. Lol.

Talon Co. get my vote. They are the ones out there in the trenches. Some of the most epic fights I have seen in FO3 were between Talon and Super Mutants.

No. You cannot even join their ranks. They are always hostile towards the player. You can kill Commander Jobasco (their leader), but that doesn't really have an effect.

I wish Fallout 3 was like Oblivion where you could join guilds and such. Talon Company could have been a joinable faction. Oh well.
