A rig to run this beast

Hey Hey
I am so pumped for the new Elder Scrolls game, however I am not so sure if my computer is going to be able to hold up to it. I am considering doing some upgrades or outright building a new rig that will make Skyrim its [censored]. I really want to be able to appreciate the new improvements to the engine and the massive game world.
I am currently using...
Windows XP Pro
CPU Type DualCore Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, 2400 MHz (9 x 267)
Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3
System Memory 3328 MB (DDR2-800 DDR2 SDRAM)
Video Adapter NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 (896 MB)
As you can see, although I had no problems with most games up until now. Its starting to show its age. Especially since I do not have access to DX10-11 features in games that support them.
Anyone have any suggestions for a rig or want to tell me what kinda rig they are using for this?

-EDIT-
I just realized there was a thread further down that seemed to be about this. Oops, my bad.

Ok, I'm no tech expert, and this may be useless, but I think you will have no problem playing the game as Beth always makes their game playable by a range of tech, but you will struggle with higher settings. It depends on what you like to get out of your games. I find myself to be my own pain in the "bleep" cause I need great graphics so Im always upgrading. Will you regret not playing Skyrim in all it's glory? maybe. But note that Todd mentioned they arn't supporting the individual aspects of Dx11, so you may breath easy.
