What about posting a list of the mods you are using, just to narrow the search...

Yeah, we need a little more info. A Google search on "ring of murder" skyrim mod returns 0 hits.

You could try loading your load order in TES5Edit (could take a while, if you have a lot of plugins) and then searching for it with the help of filters.

Place Ring on table, Open Console, click on ring and learn where it comes from. Every Item in the Game has an eight digit code that can often be used to identify the Mod that added or changed the Item.

00=Skyrim

01=Update.Esm

Wrye Bash and MO list Mods by the code, I am not sure how NMM lists active Mods.

This is a great idea :smile:

I came out of the Cornerclub in Windhelm and saw some hovering thing. It made _pulsatile_ sounds like an alien, but looked like a flying octopus with only six hanging down tentacles.

This only happened after I used WyreBash the first time to combine the Levelled Lists.

It took me some time to figure out, it put Rebirth Monsters esp into the list for some reason. I removed it from the patch and haven't seen that thing in town since.

Still hoping I nailed it... next time I check by ID.

//edit: found it: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Dragonborn:Netch

No idea how that got into Windhelm...

What does its enchantment do, out of interest?

Also, how are you liking Wintermyst? It does look good.

I installed Wintermyst recently and this is also the reason I started using wyrebash :smile:

I am only lvl 28 and obviously didn't see all of them. They are useful and very well distributed with a bashed patch.

Like +7% experience gain on all skills, +10 hp to allied NPC every second in a radius of something, chance to stagger if bashed with a shield, summon a wolf companion, chance to complete refill a soul gem in your inventory (triggers three times a day), gain 10gold every hour or something, gain 5% of the magicka cost of the spell casted at you, do 11 additional damage and if an enemy dies with this effect do x10 more (like you are in berserk mode after killing the first enemy with that weapon in an encounter).
