Rings Of Mara Divorce Rate.........

Post » Sun Mar 30, 2014 9:51 am

I know that technically you can't get divorced in this game but what percentage of people who paired with someone else will still be with that person one week from launch and one month from launch. I am guessing that 75% of the pairs will still be intact after the first week and 40% after the first month.

What about the partner who kills more and picks more chests? ESO Alimony for the next patch? Hmm....

LOL awesome thread...this is the exact reason why I wont be using my rings until the late 20's or 30's. Find a good established toon to run with......I hate how this sounds like dating.

No you can't, it's for life.

I too am curious, see I think there will be a lot of people pairing up in game and then surely there will be some who just don't play beyond the first 30 days (as is true for a lot of games).

Haha - so your response to anything won't be 'go tidy your room', it will be 'go log on to ESO' :D

There is a shrine to reset the Ring of Mara next to the 2 respec shrines.

Oh, and they shouldn't let different races marry! Its not natural for an Orc to marry an Elf!

Next thing you know, people will be marrying their cat....

I'm curious . . . are they transferrable? As a set, I mean. 'Cause I got no real desire to use mine ...

Glad to hear it - it did sound a bit awkward the way you described it, but it doesn't have to be. :)

But your honor, I was a pocket healer and supported my Ring Mate, followed her, sustained her with nary a chance to respec and get my degree in dps. She out leveled me and now I'm alone and have not enough skills to kill on my own and make my way in the world. I have 3 little alts to consider and nurture. I demand 1/3 of her loot from this day forward!

I'd say abut 90% will divorce, if not more. I know I'll be, lol. Like the marriage band in SWG, used when needed to rez, then thrown away, hehe.
