wow... Another surprise! He had so many memorable roles! Alexander Dane in http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0177789/ had to be one of my favorite roles he played. "By Grabthar's hammer!"
I will miss him...
I just watched that movie a few days ago. I watch it often. I think it's one of the best comedy films of the past twenty years. He was an extremely talented actor who brought something very special to every role I ever saw him in. This is truly shaping up to be a sad year.
Damn, I liked him. He did "evil/bad" so well. Good actor. RIP good sir.
And we are only half a month in.
RIP, Alan Rickman, what a bad start to the new year.
Damn. R.I.P .. i don't get why January is this bad right now.
Lemmy, (Michel Delpech, Michel Galabru, Pierre Boulez in France), Bowie, Rickman, who's next?
I Just found and again I didn't know Rickman had cancer. RIP Rickman.
He'll be missed. Loved him in Dogma and Truly, Madly, Deeply. He (usually) managed to be pretty good even when the film was bad.
I think I first noticed him in Dogma, and after that it was always a plus to see him in any role. He was like a guarantee that, worst case, I would enjoy at least one thing in the movie. Great actor.
Damn.. I didn't even know he was ill. I'm quite honestly baffled by this.. he's one whose time I didn't expect to be coming to an end. Aside from Die Hard and Harry Potter, I've seen glimpses of him in other movies but I was never too familiar with them. As a big Harry Potter fan, he became a recognizable figure to me and I always thought of him as a cool guy.. my mom said she always loved him too, and I'm sure my aunt on her side will be hit by this too.
I don't know what else to really say. Good bye Severus .
I remember him as the king of the ye ol' time fair on King of the Hill.
"I shall purchase thy gas."
I liked him in Die Hard. "I'm sorry, I must have missed 60 Minutes".
