So...I just started playing the game, I got to River Wood and took the Golden Claw quest, I finished it, and when I went back to the Village aftewards and all the villagers are attacking me.

I stupidly deleted all my saves from before the quest, as I figured I wouldn't need them.

After some searching I found out if you committed a crime they will attack, I did kill a chicken, as the girl was escorting me out of the village, on my way to the Bleak Falls quest.

What can I do to fix this? Or do I need to restart the game?

Is there a command to reverse the Villagers being against me?

Can you take out your sword, then put it away and talk to a guard to pay your bounty or something?

Those poor chickens, always the victim of abuse. I'll never get why people target them.

How do I pay my bounty in River Wood? I tried putting my weapon away, then back out a few times. It won't let me talk to anyone.

Go to whiterun talk to a guard and you will be able to pay your fine CHICKEN KILLER!

So..I tried putting god mode on, and running through the whole village, there doesn't seem to be anyone to pay off. Am I missing something?
