PC : Rivet City glitch

Post » Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:02 am

Hi,
Every time that the bridge is extended and I attempt to cross it, the game freezes and then crashes. I have applied the latest patch (1.7) and still have not been able to get past this annoyance. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Do you use any mods? If so, posting a load order may help.
I know the solution to the CTD that happens upon exiting Rivet City, but haven't heard of this one.

MystykStar,
Thank you for your reply. Actually, I was able to solve this last night. I simply went off and did a side mission and came back to Rivet City at night. Re-extended the bridge and was able to cross over fine. I do not use mods. No idea what solved the issue. Just a guess, but it might have had something to do with crossing the bridge at night vs day.
