Alright, the first one had allot of potential but crashed and burned because of people doing what ever the hell they wanted, that is going to change. The first Roamers was all about us trying to make friends with some assassin, now I thought that was a little fun but it sorta ruined the RP and the whole "team" aspect of it. Anyways rant is over lets try again.

Were ever you were it did not matter all that did is what was playing on the Radio, you were listening to the great music and then this came it, you went to change the station then heard it, you heard the rest.

"Hello people of the Capital Wasteland, sorry to interrupt your radio's but I come here with a message, a message directed to those who's lives have been ruined in one way or another! If you are one of these people who wants a new life, no scratch that who NEEDS a new life then come to Rivet City. Trust me, we can start new lives, we can make a difference, we can do anything, hell we can rebuild America! And yes I know what you are all thinking, oh Bill you crazy man you'll never accomplish anything! Well just let me prove you wrong, so how ever wants a new life you now know what to do!"

After hearing this message you knew what to do, you grabbed your equipment and headed off to Rivet City, you were making a new life, a new and better life.

Personality: Very hard to convince, not easily intimidated. Right to the point
Bio: Jason was born to very abusive parents they beat him every day. One day he ran from home only to be greeted by raiders, they were about to kill him but when a man by the name of carth saved him. Carth told him he would take him in only if he was to become a hit man for carths mercenary group. So Jason joined carth ad his group, every day he trained and got better and better soon he would go on missions.

Jason called his group the family he never because they actually give a damn if he was alive 0r if he was dead. Years passed and he was second in command of the group but it was short lived. On a mission the contract owner killed Jason's entire group and kept the bonus, Jason was only alive because he survived the gunshot to the chest. All of his friends were dead and he became bitter with himself. Jason tracked down the man and killed him very slowly. When he was done with him torched the body and put it in the middle of megaton to make his vengeance even bigger. For the time to come Jason has been very depressed and lonely and has been thinking about suicide but when he heard about the radio broadcast he got his stuff and walked to rivet city and wanted to start a new life.

So what's the goal of this RP other than to start a new life? Do you have a story? Twists? Etc.?

EDIT: What I'm really asking, is it going to be combat-heavy? If not, I think I might join. I've got a few ideas for a character without a combat focus.

Well the real goal is to leave your life behind and to start anew, and no this will not be combat heavy.

Uh...I know the goals to start a new life, but I mean as in is the RP going to be us going as a group to Rivet City, or us IN Rivet City? And when we're in Rivet City, will it be freeform, us doing what we want or will there be an underlying plot?

Josh, you REALLY need to stop making all the open-ended Rp's. All that happens, EVERY TIME is you and someone else end up having a huge one-sided conversation or scene with each other and the RP ultimately fails. Start developing some actual plots and underlying goals, give some detail to the goals and plots and don't make them so open-ended, try to be at least a bit linear.

By "you and somebody else", Jonas means Ringman. Thats what killed the new Manhattan War. Perhaps you guys should join different RP's for once? The best way to get better is to work with people that are better than you are.

You are both at the same level of skill, in my opinion. You have lots of potential and a love of RP'ing and Writing, but you also have a considerable need for improvement in the grammar, spacing, and detail fields. Josh has gotten considerably better in his spelling and spacing, but not so much in detail.

Ringman REALLY needs to work on his spacing and needs some work on his grammar and detail.

I know for a fact that you guys are probably going to disregard thism, if not outright bash me for flaming, but this is pure, unbiased, constructive criticism. I freely admit that though I started out here needing less work than you, I still needed some help to get better at RP'ing.

What made it for me was RP'ing alongside The Comedian and Naz(The one that made Armageddon, not the guy pretending to be him), who helped me focus my natural skill at writing and apply it to RP'ing. I know that the beggining-of-year pickings are fairly slim, you guys should at least try what I'm suggesting.

Okay then, past the advice rant and on to the part about the actual RP, I would join this if it werent for the fact that it isnt going to have much combat. I'm okay with Non-Combat RP's, but its just not my style.

I'm not seeing what the story for this is.... Is it going to be us fufilling our new lives in Rivet City? Or is it us trying to get to Rivet City, You left it so open I don't know what the characters are going to be doing.

Bio: Zoey left her home in Megaton at the age of 14 she left because she was bored, not knowing what she was going to do but she left anyway, in her travels she made friends in various places she was kind to people most of the time but could be a [censored] if needed, by the time she was 16 she had obtained her rifle and pistol and learned to use them. just before she turned 17 Zoey started doing work for various outfits the majority of it was scouting work her skills with a rifle helped with this job immensley as did her athletic ability she could reach places others could not.

Zoey is a very trusting girl but if you betray that trust you'd have to go to the ends of the wasteland and back to regain it she is also generally upbeat and happy, some would prehaps say very optimistic and also has a bit of a gift with words. Most of the time Zoey tries to find the good in people but if there blatantley isnt any she wont even try. Alot of people critisize her because of her age but she can hold her own in most situations.

This RP can wait, and it still has alot of combat what I meant is that it is not combat all times. And this was not an open end RP it was supposed to be a Team RP but what ever screw it.

In your first post you said and headed off to Rivet City. Does that mean that this RP will be us IN Rivet City or us working as a team to GET to RivetCity, that's all I want to know.

Rivet City is minor that is were you will be meeting the guy after that you will go to places not in FO3

His parents told them he shouldn't associate with the stock. It took a while , but he eventually saw the slaver way, but not for long. When he grew up, he developed a taste for literature often seized with small settlements or poorly armed scavengers. Over time, he decided he couldn't keep sending people to damnation. The only obstacle is he knows he'll need to run far and have help if doesn't want to be captured and made a slave himself.

Sannes is ignorant? Hardly. You've just proved his point by spelling 'ignorent' wrong. It's an A not an E. You're saying he has 'balls' for correcting you? Look, Ring. All Sannes is doing is being critical and giving constructive criticism (at least that's how it seems to me). You need to write something and then take a good look at it before posting it. Read over it, look for errors and then correct them. If you can't find them, ask someone else to help you. Hell, if you PM it to me, I'll look over it for you and point them out, but please, check it before you post.

EDIT: Oh, right. I wasn't sure what you actually meant by meeting at Rivet City. I assumed you meant go to Rivet City in order to make a new life there, not simply meeting there. It would be nice if you could give us some information before we actually trek across the Wasteland to this remote corner of the Capital Wasteland, through the D.C. Ruins to you. So far, this Bill guy just sounds like a crazy guy who's got his hands on a radio broadcaster.

I was about to make a long, drawn out insult over that, due to the fact that he didnt read past the first paragraph of my post. I followed the portion of my rant that you quoted with something akin to a "Compliment" which is pretty d@mn rare from me.

You guys could be awesome if you were to overcome your complications in the more material fields of writing(Spelling, grammar, detail) since you quite apoparently have the metaphysical fields(Creativity, Imagination, and Inspiration) pretty well covored.

I know I have no part in this Rp or topic, but I too have to agree with Sannes. Josh and Ringman clearly love to participate in Rps with others. But does anyone else? Not really, because when they are in the same Rp with Josh and Ringman it ends up becoming just them two making pages of purely Josh and Ring posting.
I really wanted to keep Manhattan Wars going (new one), but it ended up with Josh and Ring posting an entire page. Everyone else clearly didn't like it and they all left.
I won't go into mentioning grammar and all that other stuff, but since you have joined this forum Ringman every Rp host told you to fix spelling and grammar and to this day I have seen NO improvement. Just give it a go so we can stop telling you to fix every mistake, please.
