Robber's Cove

Okay, you know Robber's Cove?

Spoiler
You know the lagoon in the cave? How are you supposed to do that with a follower? I jumped in the water, and sure enough, Lydia jumped in right after me like I intended. Here's the thing though - when I swim out of the cave to the outdoors lagoon, Lydia doesn't follow me. She continues to swim in the cave. There's no way to get out of the water in the cave, yet she won't swim out of the cave with me - it's like she's decided that she's staying there, forever, in the damn water.

Is there something I'm missing or have others had the same problem?

have you tried telling her to return home and then just getting her to follow you again once she walks out? sometimes followers will go derp mode and get stuck too might just need to shout at her a bit :P.

You mean tell her "it's time we parted ways"? She's carrying my loot. Besides, she seems physically incapable of leaving the cave. There's no slope from the water up to the landing, and she won't swim out the cave mouth like I do. Very weird.

Just tell her to 'wait here' before you go in the cave, then collect her after youre done. That is weird tho, I dont remeber any issues with that quest.

You try fast travelling somewhere or loading up a new interior area, like a dungeon? That often forces your companion to teleport to you, but not always.

Okay, I'll try both these ideas. Thanks.

Thanks, got her out. When I left the cave (up the ladder, not out the mouth of the cave) she somehow came with me. Went the long way around.
