Can anyone recommend some good locations to go hunting for (or characters to buy from) a set of Extreme or Peerless robes of destruction? The full on, save 25% Magika kind.

Aren't Novice/Master ..etc Robes of Destruction better?You can buy them from mages in Winterhold or any other mage that offers barter.
If its for cosmetic reasons.. I believe they are random and can be found in chest all over the place, but are rare. You could try Conjurer or necromancer lairs maybe.

master robes are sold by each college master and are the best robes. Faralda is the destruction master and will sell you master destruction robes but only when your level is high enough... same applies to buying spells except your skill level affects which spells are for sale
