So I just saw the new Robin Hood movie and I am itching to play Robin Hood. Oblivion seems like the perfect place to do it. I was wondering if you guys could point me in the direction of mods to make my game very Robin-ish. I will also probably be using FCOM/UFCOM.

is that any good? or are there any other immersion mods like it?
I guess what I really want is not so much the equipment of Robin Hood, while that is a plus. I want to be able to play almost exclusively as an archer and have it fairly realistic

I never use his mods, but MANY people endorse his mods and I generally hear positive things about them. I still remember when he pulled all of his mods offline threads started popping up asking if it could please be reuploaded.

do you know if they are compatible with FCOM?

I always play with Duke Patrick's mods. They are compatible with FCOM and definitely work to provide a realistic archery experience. I would also recommend CraftyBits. It allows you to create your own bows and arrows with self-harvested wood. It also does a lot more that that and works well for an outdoorsy character. Flaming Arrows is always fun to watch as an archer and Symphony of Violence is a good sound mod if you enjoy atmospheric sounds like the twang of a bow.

This is a fantastic mod. I would never go back to Vanilla marksman after playing this.

I find that Brash's Wooden Bows and Leather Armors is some beautifully done ranger gear. The basic mod can be seen here: http://oblivion.brashendeavors.net/bows/
Don't be put off by the fact that it says it is unfinished. I know some people who use it and find it works perfectly. It includes a small ranger settlement, half a dozen or so rangers and the ability to fletch your own arrows.

My elf has a body by BAB so I use the Babarized version (by Ceedee) and love it. (Thank you Brash and Ceedee and the BAB team!)
