Robo-Scorpions

Post » Thu Jul 21, 2011 4:19 am

Okay, so I am currently playing the new addon and I'm having trouble trying to kill/destroy these MK 3 Roboscorpions. Which weapon would work best against them? Thanks. :vaultboy:

Do you have the K9000? You can find a mod somewhere (I forget exactly) that allows you to craft it into a FIDO. It is basically the same as the K9000, but it has higher DAM, a slick new coat of paint, and uses .44 Magnum ammo.

When I met the robo-scorpions I was like 'aww look at the cute little robo-scorpions', quickly followed by 'argh, why didn't anyone warn me they fire lasers from their tails?'

I was hoping the scorpians tasered you as we already have enemies that shoot lasers/laser weapons at you. Then again people would of probably been bugged if an enemy could stun you. Maybe only 1 or 2 scorpians in a group with tasers built in would of helped remedy.

Yeah, I just camped on a pipe killing about 10 of them using a silenced sniper rifle.

Some Lobotomites occasionally used one, also Hunting Revolver and Brush Guns. At least for me as 40+ character.

Even with shotgun surgeon enemys have too much DT (18+ mostly) to use shotguns. FIDO really should be 50 MG...

You need weapons that hurt Robots and Power Armor.

Pulse Gun
Paladin Toaster
Holorifle works very well in this DLC

Sonic Emitter will freeze robots with a critical hit.

Stuff like that.

Friend to Animals is useful too.

Go to Higgs village and get the Tarantula upgrade for the sonic-emitter (house #00, second floor, on top of a computer)

I used the super-heated saturnite fist with the pyromanic perk to beat down any melee enemies. Being level 45 makes everything in that DLC incredibly powerful. First time in a while that I've had to pop chems like a fiend just to stay alive.
