Robot Deathclaws

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 7:05 pm

Just thought about this, but it sounded weird. I doubt it will be in game right now, if it were to be a mod, would people want to have a robotic deathclaw at some point in Fallout 4? Maybe like an experiment by the institute or something?

EDIT: clarified the question a bit.

...like...a cyborg Deathclaw? Or a complete Robo Deathclaw?

I'm personally not a fan of the damn things, really.

I was thinking full-on robot deathclaw, but a cyborg sounds intimidating too, so either, I guess.

I myself wonder why I would even ask this. Just a weird thought off the top of my head.

Well when your escaping from raven rock in F3 there is a computer to hack that has info on the Enclave's progress to domesticate deathclaws. You can even free a domestic deathclaw that wont attack. Maybe they succeeded in raising domestic deathclaws and started strapping guns and armor to them (and riding them!!) Would be really cool enemy

We had robo-scorpions, why not have robo-deathclaws that shoot lasers out of their claws while they're mauling you.

Robotic deathclaws should be official canon and wanting anything else is just plain un-American.

The mind-controlled 'Claws were part of the base game. They had a blinder thing on that made them compliant to whatever Enclave guy held the controller, but also opened up a Frenzy target.

I shall feed you into the Book Chute for your seditious assertions.

The RobCo Certified mod for New Vegas had this, they were called "Cyberclaws". Basically you killed a Deathclaw, and with a RobCo perk were able to Frankenstein it.

Yeah, Cazaclaws are pretty fearsome alright, but they're like puppies compared to Deathjaws.

Enclave also had an testing area with deathclaws with an brain implant who made them friendly to Enclave. Now the fun part was if you hit the implant the deathclaw would atack anybody, think TES frenzy spell. Many robots and turrets had the same function.

I'd rather a cybornetic intelligent deathclaw enemy like how some dogs are augmented. Except as weapons.

Robot dragons would be more likely. I mean, they wouldn't be literal dragons, but flying bots or gunships. Because of Skyrim's dragons, they have the flight routines with strafing and hovering to fire so I'd be surprised if we don't see some technological menace that makes use of them.
