ROCCAT Isku keyboard M1-M5 keys locked as Sprint

Post » Sun Jul 12, 2015 8:10 pm

So I have the ROCCAT Isku keyboard and I've tried everything to get it's 5 macro keys to work in Skyrim. To clarify they do "work" but no matter what I set them as in the app they always seem to point to L.Shift (Sprint) in game. I've disabled the Caps+ feature so that it works just like a normal capslock key and I have no other profiles that would interfere. I've even linked that profile to the SKSE loader.exe or to the Skyrim.exe.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get these keys to work? At the moment I have M1 ( [ ) , M2 ( ] ) M3 ( \ ) M4 ( ; ) and M5 ( ' ).

I think you mean ROCCAT. http://www.roccat.org/us-en/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/Isku-Series/Isku/

I THINK the issue is that the M1-M5 are programmable macro keys. Not to be treated as regular keys?

THe FAQ section recommends you input delays for these keys. http://www.roccat.org/us-en/Support/Faq/#Faq-113

LOL OMG YEAH!, I mean ROCCAT. I had Fallout 4 on the mind when I was writing that so..... Yeah.

Well I'm not sure. I'm trying to map them to the keys I listed above in my OP. I have them set as those keys but whenever I'm in MCM to map them to do something I get the warning that Sprint is already mapped to that key. I also tested it out to see if they were mapped as sprint and they are. I can hold any of them down and move forward and I do sprint. It's like the game is set to read them as my sprint key even though I've mapped them (in the keyboards app) to be linked to another set of keys. Also they were never set to the L. Shift button to begin with.

Does it work if you assign the key to something through Skyrim? Not MCM. So you are trying to map the [ Key to something? Just to be clear, you are htting that key [ not the M1 key?
