In one of the interviews I saw on IGN, Todd mentioned being able to transverse most any grade of terrain in Skyrim. This of course makes sense as Skyrim is a mountainous country.
Does anyone expect to see any hand-over-hand rock climbing in order to reach a dragon's perch, or gain a vantage point for archery or access a cave in the side of a mountain?
I'm doubtful, but it would be nice. Climbing altogether would be nice. I'd love to be able to climb up the side of a building at night, and slip in through the window to rob the place. But I don't see it happening. We'll see I guess.
I'm not sure if it will be in, but I kind of expect some kind of climbing. I mean, it's a mountains and rocks everywhere. Red Dead Redemption had climbing and didn't need it at all. Skyrim kind of needs it (as in it would really really benefit from it).
