Roleplay Game Idea.

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 10:36 am

I have a few roleplay ideas.

1. Set in Chicago (or a suggested location, maybe D.C. ?), Feral Ghouls suddenly overrun the area, forcing survivors into barricaded buildings and buses.

2. Raiders have taken over the D.C. Area ( Again, the setting is up for discussion,), Forcing the Enclave and Brotherhood out through sheer force and, a surprising knowledge of combat tactics and organization.
You fight alongside wastelanders from every walk of life.

Enclave Soldiers, BoS, Tenpenny Tower Residents and Gaurds, Ghouls, Super Mutants, Slavers, Talon Company, Regular wastelanders,
Residents of Rivet City, Megaton, Ex slaves. Previous enemies, all fighting against, the one group they were almost SURE would never hold any REAL power.

3. The Enclave has taken over the Capital Wasteland. They undoubtedly, rule over every major settlement.
Who will stop them?

I will be on VERY frequently, so no worries about anything like that.

Also, if there are any thoughs on names for these rps, or suggestions to change them, please post.

Well ..

I was thinking there's maybe like .. a group of people one building, then some guy off by himself with a sniper on another building, maybe someone is surviving in a closed off section of tunnel.

Anything can happen.

And i mean like .. You look at the bottom of the building, and you can't see the ground.

Like, somehow the ENTIRE city went Feral, and for some reason ventured out of darkness.

I also think Chicago would be good.

It's a good setting for some real "Paesans" to get involved. :)

Imagine, dirty wastelanders, struggling to survive, keep the hordes at bay,
A lone sniper, sending messages to the wastelanders,

And then, a trigger happy group resembling old mafiosi.

Think, fallout 3 is very 1950's oriented, so where is the organised crime?

Sounds like 28 Days Later... You know why.

2. Raiders have taken over the D.C. Area ( Again, the setting is up for discussion,), Forcing the Enclave and Brotherhood out through sheer force and, a surprising knowledge of combat tactics and organization.
You fight alongside wastelanders from every walk of life.

Sound very bland..

Sounds like Half-Life 3... Fight against the oppressing Combine?

I will be on VERY frequently, so no worries about anything like that.

Awww, you guys make me sad... :(

The role play really has gone down the pan, Fallout is old and people are getting bored with it.
A few months back the Roleplay was huge but now its not..

Ya just need to be slower, your posts really are too quick and too short.
Need to adopt a more lengthy approach to Roleplaying, posting maybe twice a day not twice an hour.

This is not critisism.

the problem is that canon is ruining the fallout rp, so many people disagree with what did and didnt happen and it makes rping for fallout difficult

I agree with Jester. There is so much going on the story gets carried away.

I have actually never finised an rp. All the ones I have been in have died.

Yes but they have heaps of regulars (even going all the way back to Morrowind), a lot of people come here, post twice and are never seen again. Things will get better, even if one in every twenty people stays we slowly build up people. Afterall Fallout 3 is still an active game there are still a lot of newbies in the Fallout General section not to mention DLC and such.

We just need to stick it out and be welcoming to newcomers.

=p
anyways #3 sounds good, maybe because I liked Half-Life though =p

maybe we could start a nnever ending RP, it may get a few slow downs now and then when one story ends and a new one begins but it could work ^.^
or maybe im just optimistic like that
