Roleplay Help - Weaponry

Alrighty guys! I asked for help earlier about how to get into the RP groove again and you didn't disappoint.

So this character, Stacie, is going to be in Reilly's Rangers. So far I'm just getting up to being able to help them and get the armour and whatnot, but I really don't know what weapons I should use. Personally, I'm a sniper/stealth type, but I do love pistols and shotguns on the other hand. So if you guys could help me decide what would be the most effecient (RPing, need to make sure I have under 5 weapons for weight reasons) I'd really appreciate it!

If you were willing to use energy weapons the Gauss Rifle is the best sniper, but knowing you that probably isn't an option. The best sniping weapons in my opinion are Blackhawk (unique scoped revolver, 55 damage per shot, but 0.3 spread) or Lincoln's Repeater (no scope, 50 damage per shot, slow fire rate, 0 spread).

The sniper rifles have bugged scopes whose crosshairs do not point where the bullet goes, but rather are down and to the left of the true spot.

You could also pack Sydney's ultra 10mm SMG for lighter and more numerous targets.

Spoiler
I hope you found the holotape "A note from little moonbeam's father" while in the statesmen hotel. You need it to get this weapon without needing to kill Sydney or let her die.

The terrible shotgun has terrible spread but really packs a punch. With it having a spread of 6 you should only really use it at melee range IMHO.

If you like assault rifles the Xuanlong Assault rifle (Unique Chinese assault rifle) is a good solid general purpose workhorse.

Make note that the SMG and the assault rifle have the same spread (1.5) and one fires faster while the other does more damage per bullet. Only pick one for your loadout.

The way I look at it is if my character can carry all those weapons. Say, having a minigun would pretty much cancel out all other weapons!

Let's see, a pistol does not weigh much, and you can simply carry it on your side, it is a side arm, mostly everyone has one! I found the 10mm to be decent, low damage, but still works. Hmm seeing as she's in the rangers, perhaps a magnum?

Hmm, let me think. Could carry a pistol on one side, and a sawed-off shotgun on the other side, leaving room for a sniper?

I'm thinking having the blackhawk, a magnum, as a side arm. It does have a scope.

Then use the sawed-off shotgun for when the come close.

Or you could use the blackhawk as your sniper, allowing you to carry combat/terrible shotgun.

Again, I'm not sure how you're playing, the way I do it is, two side weapons(one of each side of your hip), and one weapon on the back, a combat knife in the boot, and a two or three grenades.

Mmm, my mind's scattered right now. So Sorry if I'm not making any sense!
