roleplayers, I need some help

Ok roleplaying as a an outlaw for unknown reasons by the ncr due to something I did in the past that they never tried to explain to me. After being betrayed on the road by quite a few socalled "friends", my guy is a loner. He loves the Mojave to explore but relys on caravans and merchants for his food and water basically, dependant on the Mojave economy. He lives by his guns and dies by his guns. Hes not a social person though his body and wits are keen for survival. He speaks whats he thinks so hes blunt and a bit of an [censored]. Hes greedy and drinks and uses drugs pass the time he believes but really to drown out the fact hes been down on his luck so long since the ncr intervened and the betrayals. His only friend is a robot he fixed up being Ede. His motives for getting to new Vegas is revenge and caps. He does whatever it takes to get the job done, weither bad actions or a long chain of good actions, as long as he gets what hes looking for at the end.

Ok that wall of text was just to give a background. I am now faced with a tough decision. My charector has learned of yes man and of a chance he can be the ruler of the strip. Im trying to decide with Mr House or Yesman. For HIS reasons. I know Mr house is a great factions with benefits as well as yesman.. Im against the ncr and using the legion to weaken the ncr but will soon take care of them to get them as well outta the Mojave.

So what should a down on his luck western outlaw chose? Should he be greedy and roll the dice on him being the leader unaware of the thought process that goes with ruling, or stay in the shadows as a right hand well to do man? Not whats good for the Mojave, but should that type of person do and chose you think? I cant decide what fits him best.

Judging by your character, i would go with indy. It sounds as if, given the chance, your character would love to have control of the Mojave and the Strip, especially since he's "greedy".

You could just not have your character be the courier, but for your situation I'd say Yes-Man, he doesn't seem like he'd trust anyone but himself to run things. :P
