Roleplaying and Immersion advice

Hello all! Ive gotten back into Skyrim lately and Ive spent the last few days getting my game modded just right for a new playthrough. Ive spent almost 300 hours on my last character as a fast-traveling superhero badass, but for this new character im interested in immersion, realism, and roleplaying. Ive gotten my character and his backstory fleshed out but i get into the game and im like...."now what?" im new to this sort of approach to the game so i would love some advice from folks who play in this style alot. Maybe i am over thinking it? I wont bore you with the long version but just a few notes about him. He is a Nord named Ylfing, he's from Bruma, son of a Blacksmith. He's always wanted to visit the land of his ancestors and so leaves home to seek his fortune in Skyrim. I thought I would keep his motives simple since, like i said, im new to this playstyle. Also, my last character was an Imperial Battlemage so I decided to make Ylfing an Altmer-hating, Talos-loving Stormcloak hopeful. Thanks for reading and any advice on immersion and roleplaying is greatly appreciated!

Have you got the mods; Frostfall, hunterborn, realistic needs and diseases and immersive first person view.

Give your character a goal. It doesn't need to be a big goal.
Give your character his own personality. If you see an Thalmor soldier then kill him because your character is a thalmor hating Stormcloak or run away if you have decided that he is a bit of a milk drinker. Have him react to things how he would react.
If you get to a dungeon that you want to explore but your character wouldn't then don't explore the dungeon.

Do a DID playthrough.

Dead is dead. If you die, then that's it and you have to start a new character or whatever

Do what michaelpk said and make sure you have the essential immersion mods. But once you have all your mods in place and you're ready to start, just take things slow. Picture your game like a cinematic. Eat, sleep, give your character a personality, and ultimately, just have fun realistically living in Skyrim. Roleplaying is the only reason I still play Skyrim, and it's a great way to play.
