Hell yea it does. Endless jungles, beautful waterfalls, exotic fruits and animals. Hmmm. It can range from different quest lines. Lost cities of treasures or something more "Elder Scrollsy"

Thats more or less the point i wanted to get across, but it went off in a weird tangent xD.

I remember the first Role Play i ever created on these boards. Yes my first character was some uber assassin/warrior/demon possessed thing, yet the Rp went on for ra long time because of the way the community reacted to a new idea. Many from that one over 5 years ago had let me meet new pwople who were new also and i have been Rping with them since (right Uglius?

)

We all were green to these forums at one point or another so by all means the more practise for the new guys the better. Because for ever 5 or so RPs that die, there will be one that will be around for a long time (or never actually stop), and even if they do the people you meet along the way can allow you to build a solid rping base that will increase the chances of success

I remember that character I think. I also remember no one made a big deal out of it because, while it was a very powerful character, played by someone no one really knew. There was alot more freedom for what or who you wanted to play. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, I think it's healthy for overtime, this once very raw and young community to slowly become moulded over the years through experience into the community it is today.

P.S. Shadow mate, if your plans for staying around here are concrete, let me know. I have in my mind an RP I wanna start but I need lead0rz.

Looks like alot of people like Hircine! This is good. We obviously need a hunt oriented theme so all hunters and Hircine cultists can gather for a fun time or something.

hircine is like, one of the best deadric princes. he defines "badass"

Well, if we're going to have a Hunt-oriented RP, we'll need someone to host it... And it would have to include a reason for the players to cooperate, such as hunting some "Ultimate Prey" (Valenwood has all sorts of goodies in that regard). I really don't like competitive RPs due to the lack of structure to handle disputes.

Perhaps a Great Game hosted by Hircine's followers. I had an idea that the Hunting Tournament or Games could span from different enviornments, one, of course, being the Jungle in Valenwood. I thought of RPing in Hircine's Realm but changed my mind. It would be too much to hunt in his Realm, after all, most mortals are hunted unless you are good friends with Hircine(Judging by those Nord drivers in the book).

But I do agree, the ultimate prey and the ultimate reward for the individuals that capture or kill it. But a goodp lace would be Valenwood. A vast unexplored jungle with all sorts of creatures. It would be amazing.

I saw it before when looking for vampire or werewolf RPs. Pretty interesting. Maybe in the future you can work something out. Who knows?

I've already done it twice. But perhaps over the summer I'll give it a third try.

I had a great idea for it and its sequel, but I could never find 4 guys who didn't quit after 3 weeks. If you guys stayed, we could do something like that later. If someone else wants to host something like that, I'll throw you some guidance.

Golden Dawn is really recruiting well this is a final call for any others interested!!! :flamethrower: guys your missing out if you dont join up seriously i dont want any one to feel burned but once we start it will be tough for any late comers to join. So if your interested you have by tomorrow to turn in a character bio. Thanks a ton every one for showing such great support!!

There's nothing wrong with a little advertisemant, but some of us only have so much time or only give a certain amount of allotted time to the forum. This seems to be the thread to post RP ideas, so here it goes.

I once had an idea for an RP in which the Daedric Lord Vaermina, master of dreams and nightmares, decided it would be amusing to take several people from around the world into an alternate version of Cyrodiil in their dreams. They'd fall asleep, and "wake up" again inside of this dream world, where Vaermina tells them what he/she (I always get confused on some of the daedric lords' genders) has done. They must face challenges along the way, often involving inner conflicts personified, and should they survive their trials, they will wake with a gift from Vaermina, gifts would vary between people and usually wouldn't be something physical like a weapon, but it could happen.

However, if the person does not survive the trials inside the dream world, their body in the real world will slip into a coma and die, and their souls will be forever lost in Vaermina's plane of Oblivion. Vaermina will try to kill you, but if you are clever, skilled, or lucky enough, you will survive.

This is only a basic outline of the story, and characters would be able to form groups or to brave the world alone. This is a good RP for anyone with characters that are a little crazy, but sane characters will be just as fine. I posted a similar RP to this one when I was last on the forums, but it died due to lack of posting. With this thread, I'm hoping to change that. So? how about it? If I were to post this on the board, would I be able to expect a decent turnout of posters? Or am I wasting my time?
