Alright, here is my Character. I will probably make some edits to his Bio and Personality, but I'll hold off for the moment. Personality: John or Greer, as he prefers to be called. Is a man of action, and is not afraid to get his hands dirty if the need arises, and usually gets the job done. He watches out for those he fights with, and hopes they do the same for him. When fighting, Greer can at times be brash and get himself into stupid situations that he would other wise have thought about, rather than just rushing in. He can take orders, and follow them well enough to get what needs to be done, done. Though at times, Greer has been known not to follow the orders of his superior, which has either made him very dumb or very brave in the eyes of his superiors.
Biography: Before joining the NCR Rangers, Greer was a Brahmin herder in the Southern United States. After finding the life of a Brahmin herder to boring, and not exciting enough. Greer took on the job of a Mercenary. At first, it was hard; and Greer struggled with the life of a Mercenary. But after a year, he gradually got a hold of the business, and began to love it. For years, Greer travelled the wasteland taking odd jobs here and there; and getting paid good money for doing them. At first, Greer thought that he would do nothing but travel the wasteland, and do jobs. The pay was good, and the jobs he took on, brought him to all sorts of interesting places.
After being a Mercenary for about four years, Greer was visiting the town of Shady Sands. At the time, he was low on funds and the local bar was his home. But one day, while completely and utterly drunk. Greer did one of the stupidest things he’d ever done. He picked a fight with an NCR Ranger, who was highly trained in hand to hand combat. Sad to say, but Greer ended up in the local jailhouse, and for several weeks was beaten by NCR Rangers secretly, who were basically just street thugs.
After weeks of beatings, Greer made the NCR Rangers double think what they were doing. Whenever they were beating on him, he laughed wildly and put the NCR Rangers on edge with what they were doing. At first, the Rangers thought that Greer had gone mad and that their beatings were doing nothing. Well, they were half right. It wasn’t that Greer was going mad, but it was that their beatings were doing nothing to him mentally, like they were physically. After realizing this, the NCR Ranger who had beaten Greer in the bar; brought him into the mix, and Greer was trained and gradually allowed entrance in the NCR Rangers.
Since then, Greer has travelled all around the NCR; giving out justice to Slavers and Raiders as well. When the war with the Brotherhood of Steel erupted, Greer was on the front lines of it all, and was in many urban battles. Mainly one of the major battles, The Battle of Shady Sands; where 60 heavily armored and armed Paladins and Knights came in, and almost raised Shady Sands to the ground. But luckily for the NCR Rangers, the Knights and Paladins were cut off from their “Lost Hills”, and were gradually put out of action for good. Greer being the one to put the final bullet in the head of the final dying Paladin.
