Roleplaying the Emperor

I decided to do a really cool thing with my PC Oblivion. Right after I completed the tutorial, I used the console to get the Emperor's Robes and shoes, but then I thought "Why stop there?" I redid my character to look like Emperor Uriel Septim (even giving him that name) and, again, using the console so he can wear the Amulet of Kings.

I have a warrior build, but...I don't see an aged emperor plundering through mines or old tombs. What builds do you recommend I use for my character?

It is weird, though. Walking around like I'm Uriel Septim, but everyone says the usual "He's dead! :( :( :(" stuff.

Wanting to feel more immersion with this character, how can I work around it? Maybe my guy is in fact the real emperor and the one killed was a decoy and everyone got fooled into thinkng he died. Those that didn't have to play up the charade so as to not attract unwanted attention or controversey?
