Roleplaying the Poisoned Perk

Post » Thu Jan 29, 2015 6:25 pm

When you look at the poisoned perk in the pickpocket tree, what is actually happening here? So you silently put a vile of poison in someone's pocket, and they are supposed to immediately drink it? That seems not very logical. when you roleplay a character with this perk, what do you imagine is happening so this perk actually is realistic. I have two ideas: First maybe you are using a small needle to inject the poison. Or, maybe the vile of posion is actually enchanted, so that as soon as it goes into someone's pocket it will effect them without actually being taken. That's all I can think of.

I've always assumed something similar to the needle theory. Though I don't believe syringes are really a thing in the ES universe just yet, so I belies they use a very small knife or a literal needle that is coated in the poison, tey make a very small incision on a vein of some sort. The infect person likely assuming it was a bug bite or something along those lines.
