Roleplaying yourself Challenge?

Post » Wed Aug 17, 2011 8:50 pm

I've been wondering has anyone tried roleplaying themselves in the game. I mean really roleplaying. Not acting, but doing things that you would normally do if you was truelly in the game. For Example I'm skilled with using Pole Weapons and Range Weapons. So I would pick a class or make one that uses Spears, Blunt Weapons, and Marksman. I would also say I am Light Armor user maybe Medium Armor. Then I would say I am skilled at Merchantile. Maybe some other skills. It not easy to know yourself, but I thought I would share this idea.

I would pretty much park myself in Balmora and chill in the mages guild, do Ajira's quests and a few other non-combat ones, visit the cities occasionally via teleportation. They better hope I'm not the only possible Nerevarine.

If I roleplayed my real self I would be a Witch class with no skill at weapons or armor. Fairly high intelligence and strength. Low personality.

High Intelligence and Personality. Low Strength. Favored skills would be:

Illusion - I know how to manipulate others into thinking what I want them to think or doing what I want them to do. This happens more through subtle actions and movements as opposed to words, hence Illusion not Speechcraft.

Mysticism - I'm quite spiritual and am very interested in religion, faith and philosophy. I spend a lot of time meditating, etc.

Alchemy - Good at cooking, know a lot about herbal medicine and I experiment a lot with "ingredients."

I'd be pretty useless in-game. I'd probably spend a lot of time at the Temple praying and reading, and at the Mage's Guild too, learning how to enchant things so I don't get done in by a rat.

My first PC in any game is usually how I am: abrupt, trigger-happy and grumpy.
