Roll up the rim to win.

Post » Thu Jan 27, 2011 9:27 pm

If your Canadian then you've heard of Tim Hortons annual "Roll up the rim to win" contest. So I'm curious to know what's the best thing you've won in these contests? I think the best thing I got was a pen, feels bad man. :sadvaultboy:

I wouldn't expect anything less from a low-brow non-Canadian.

I buy a coffee everyday at school and I have yet to win anything. The best I've ever won is a free coffee I suppose :(

Free drink from Robin's and Tim's. One year I won like... 8+ drinks in a row, lady behind the counter said I cleared them out of winning cups for a week or two. Hahahahah that was awesome.

I only ever win free coffees or donuts, though my mom won one of the bikes a few years ago.

Don't like coffee to much, so I usually just use the tab for hot chocolates or english toffee's.

The best I've won is a donut... Not that I've rolled up many rims. Meh. It's just never held the same appeal since they stopped making the donuts in-house.

Much better with this information...

Closest store to Texas is 888 miles away.

The best I won is a coffee haha, but I don't really like Tim's that much so I would rather spend my money on a local place or Starbucks. For regular coffee the price isn't that different, a large at Tim's is like 2$ which is the same as a grande at Starbucks even though the cups are the same size, so I would rather go for the good coffee.

We have Tim Horton's in the southeastern MI area....it's the only place I like to buy coffee when I'm out. I first discovered them on the way to Toronto a few years back, then they began appearing here. It might have something to do with being so close to Windsor, ON, I don't know...but yummy! The best....and I  coffee.

Haven't noticed the roll up the rim thing though. I'll be looking. $1.70 for a large cup BTW. It went up ten cents recently.

I've actually never had a Tim Horton's coffee...and I live in Canada. In fact, I have two less than 5 kilometers away from me. :shakehead:

I win 100% of the time. Every time I get a cup I win. I win the right to play again, because it says "please play again", so it gave me the right to play again. :D.

Seriously, the biggest I won was a coffee or donut. Congrats to the person who won a laptop.

I've never actually participated in the contest. I've bought coffee from Tim Horton's once, and I didn't like it.

I love their sandwiches though, and their chilli is pretty good too eh?.

Edit* I felt that my post lacked some essential stereotyping.

A large is about $1.50, not $2?

There are malls that have 2, 3 or 4 tim hortons in em. In my area there are 4 or 5 within walking distance of each other.

I may have been throwing away winners! I never really paid attention to the contest before and I get at least 3 or 4 cups every week. I bought one last night and looked after reading this thread, and alas...."Please Play Again"....but it makes me sad that it's possible that I may have thrown a laptop in the garbage can at some point.
I'm looking from now on.
