Nah let's not have there time spent on making lame gimmicks for the sake of variety, which i feel happened with marriage in Skyrim.

a tad more six would do the game alright i guess.
less as in "presentation of six" than as in "less avoidance of six"
fnv at least had a couple npc's labeled prosttutes and cage dancers and such, just like you'd naturally expect from a post nuke vegas, that's a start in matters of a somewhat more uninhibited approach to the matter (starting with underwear not grown to the body). i mean it's an fsk18 title after all, if i can shoot people, i can see boobs
I wouldn't mind developing a romance with a companion I've been traveling with for a long period of time. It makes sense because the longer you're alone with someone, the more you get better acquainted. advlt six is cool too, but I'd like to see it done in a passionate, mature way. Prostitution is the world's oldest profession and NPC's have needs too.
But with great cyber six should come great real life-ish responsibility. There should also be diseases you can contract from sixual encounters that drastically affect your stats. Curing STD's would be more than just popping a med ex pill. You would have to take antibiotics for X amount of days, every 6 hours to cure the infection but also increasing the risk of med addiction. Prevention methods such as condems can be used to drastically decrease chances of infection.
You know, it's funny because you can let a ten year old buy a game where you can blow peoples heads off with a sniper rifle, and plant a hand grenade in someones pocket, sending little pieces them flying in ten different direction, yet let one teeny tiny nip slip, and it's an instant 18 only game. It just doesn't make much sense.
for romance, taking skyrim as a blueprint, it wasn't implemented too plausibly if you ask me. i mean c'mon, wear an amulet an every 2nd stranger wants to marry me? meh... even more as skyrim _does_ have various actor values etc that basically measure sympathy level between any 2 given npc's - and i think romance could work out well if built on that, like be nice, do favors etc to increase sympathy, then you can start courting etc (or, new vegas style, get them drunk enough for one night stand , and with _any_ npc
judging by how many times that riften smith dude in skyrim made propositions to my (male) pc, i'm pretty confident they got that covered
again, it's an 18+ title.
if they can't keep their kids off advlt stuff, it's these parents' blame, not the company's that makes the advlt stuff.
yeah should definitely be the other way around
TBH, my comment was more directed at how games are marketed and rated, not an advocation for nudity in them. But since Fallout really is a game with a subject matter more suitable for a more mature audience, it ought to have more mature themes included in them without the fear of being slapped with an 18 only rating.
The concept of six isn't something that's out of place in the wasteland. prosttutes and casual six have already made appearances in the series, as well as perks related to sixuality. So long as it's handled maturely and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, I don't really care if it's implemented or not.
As for romance, it would have to be well-written which I doubt it will be. Under the circumstance that the relationship is believable and grows organically, then I wouldn't mind the feature. However, I could go without.
I actually enjoyed the marriage aspect of Skyrim, could of been better with better looking males (seems only the females were the ones thought out well enough) i liked that whole spouse store and homemade meal, and then adding of adopting kids and building a house aspect i really enjoyed. (bit of a hoarder when it comes to these games so having more storage was amazing)
the six part of it, my female lone wanderer/courier and dragonborns are a bit too busy with exploring and killing to worry about six, but it was nice to come home and have someone there actually seeing if you had a great time. Being a female i don't need the whole bioware romance and bang anything that moves ( i find it a bit creepy the girls who are obsessed with Alistair/Cullen etc)
But for those who want the six add in, i say i'm all for it. anything to add to more game play. BRING IT ON!
There are plenty of references if you look for them....
Alejandra Torres from the Temple of the Union was held as a concubine by her master and sold upon the demand of his new wife
Sydney's mother was violated and killed by Raiders
Trinnie from River City prosttutes herself to support her drinking habit
Angela Staley is smitten with Diego, who is studying to be a priest, unwilling to take no for an answer, and will seduce him with Ant Queen Pheremones if you give them to her.
Brianna of the Family is a prosttute and services the unmarried men of the Family....with more enthusiasm than Vance deems appropriate
Aside from being obliged to prosttute herself to service her debt to Moriarty...apparently Nova is also conducting a affair with Gob behind the scenes.
Jericho tried to force himself on Jenny Stahl
Silver in Megaton was a prosttute...and a jet addict...
Edit: Tenpenny tower has a House prosttute, Susan Lancaster
There is a Brothel in Evergreen Mills for the Raiders
That's just what I can remember off the top of my head.
No time for romance when you're trying to save the world. But we'll make time for six.
Really what is the point of "six" in a game? Not like you'll see anything but a fade to black.
I would be completely open to things like marriage and relationships in Fallout, but I just dunno if Bethesda would handle it well. The thought of finding love and happiness in a world where everyday is a struggle for survival is a great concept that I would love to have in Fallout 4. The problem is that Bethesda isn't the best when it comes to romance. I mean, in Skyrim, all you had to do was do a certain favor for someone, wear an Amulet of Mara, and then BOOM you're married. Granted, I personally really liked raising a family in Skyrim, but it obviously could have been handled better. I am not asking for something completely realistic seeing this is still a video game and all, but I would like some form of proper development in relationships in these games.
As for six, that is an entirely different topic all together. Really, what is the point of having six at all if all you are going to have is a black screen with some generic moans? I am open to it of course, but If its just going to be like that then I really don't see the point. Anyways, both relationships and six aren't required to make Fallout a good game, so I don't think it will really matter if they are included in the game or not. They would just be a nice addition.
I don't believe Bethesda could pull off a serious romance but they might be able to pull off a funny pseudo-romance, like when the female Courier kills Benny.
Love can be the devil.
Romance? Not like that. Relationship options, yes. A nice subtle tone and not cheesy.
"Hey, be mine?" .."Okay, I will. You can trust me with anything, I have your back. We'll do this together. I may take a bullet for you. If I die, I'm dead".
"Hey, be my bump buddy?" .."Okay, I will. Just come see me when you want to. I may come find you as well".
"Hey, I'm having 99 problems." .."Okay, here's some advice".
"Hey." .. "Hi".
I'm not in the "Bethesda can't do writing/romance/..." bandwagon. Yes, their writing is a hit or miss but until proven wrong I think every new installment is a candidate of being better than their previous work.
Unfortunately most of those have nothing to do with the PC having six. I really liked having some opportunities for some R&R in NV and really hope they add something to FO4.
I just want to be able to spread my STDs across the wasteland that would eventually turn my victims into feral ghouls. Like, if I wanted to bring down a town, I'd just hook up with a few key prosttutes and let nature take its course. Also, there needs to be a slave ownership perk.
It is dumb that Fallout goes PG with it's dealings with human sixuality and then goes rated R with the extreme ultraviolence on every living thing that you murder.
Bethesda: Our games have ultraviolence. Blood! Gore! Bam! We'll let you nuke whole settlements and participate in mass murder! Why worry about nudity or other "advlt" concepts when we let you kill.. small.. animals!?
The whole censorship crap is massively F'd. I don't know about other countries, I've heard some are much worse than the U.S. but I just have never understood it. They would let us sign up for the military, give us guns and tell us to kill people, but somehow the human anatomy in video games is taking things too far.
^ I'll just stop there because I'll end up writing an entire essay (and I have) but my common sense is tingling and telling me it's probably against forum rules.
I hope they improved romance and prostitution, Skyrim had some but too little dialogue and consequences for serious RP.
Mature themes have always been part of Fallout. Heck, FO2 had a six-related perk (Kama Sutra Master) and you could even become a porm star.
But please no Bioware-style "Relationship Quests". Nobody takes that long to have six.
