Would you like to see more emphasis on romance, six and prostitution than previous games? DO you like the BioWare way where you can dialogue and bang your followers? What mechanics could Bethesda implement to one up Bioware?

We had a discussion about this in a previous thread. It seemed most people wanted romance left out of Fallout.
Yeah, I'm not much on romance in my games other than a bit of flirtation or innuendos to help keep it real. But then I usually like to role play a loner.
One of the weak parts of Skyrim, but I don't dislike haveing the options. They just need more dialogue and more meaningful player-to-npc interaction. BioWare's focus on 'bang everything that moves' is amusing to me but not optimal.
yeah i just really crave that pixalated booty...geez. I don't think games can really portray romance in a realistic way. Also no awkward six scenes please, a fade to black and a remark afterwards based on endurance is about all i would care to see in fallout
No romance (comes off lame in video games, this isn't a romance novel), but sixuality is fine. FO2 had some funny/dark six stuff. FO3 seemed to go light on it.
Given the track record of the development team (trying to set up that guy with Mrs Nuka Cola addict, Skyrims romance systems) I would say your better off playing Second life if your looking for good ingame "romance"
that and I found that I was so much more annoyed by the romance options in SWTOR to the point that I started leaving the "romance" characters behind as much as possible.
Seriously one of them was such a blatant Golddigger, another came off as outright creepy (seriously your turned on by the fact that some old woman is going to be bopping her son to give him an heir? ) to what the hell??? (Seriously we killed her son just so she could de-facto sell her granchild and daughter in law into slavery? why did I even take that collar off of you since it seems you approve? or is this a thing where its ok for people to own slaves as long as your an owner and not a slave thing?)
I'm fond of Bethesda and all but the idea of them writing romances scares and confuses me.
Looking forward to this kind of encounters. I don't mind these romances/paid six for RP, but they surely need some better dialogue. Branched, very context sensitive dialogue. Let's just say I'm not holding my breath.
Romance? If it were done well, giving the possibility of a more meaningful connection with certain characters (whether followers or not), and this was in some way reflected in gameplay mechanics, then yes. I'd like to see that.
Choose the right dialogue choices to unlock a six-scene? Acceptable, but not necessarily. An unrequited romance, if done well, can be as effective (or more so) than one that just progresses to fornication and then stops.
Heck, a romance with a prosttute that starts with six and then progresses into something more meaningful could probably work. Or a romance with a warrior type who isn't going to get into all the six stuff until they and your character are both ready to settle down.

Can Bethesda do it? Maybe, but not until they decide to actually make the investment in time and effort, and either let their writers do what they're capable of, or hire writers who are capable of it. That commitment may be one Bethesda are unwilling to make, and if so they should probably steer clear of the whole idea.
Anyway. I'm sure it's way too late in development for anything like that to change now
I'm fine with innuendos, flirtation and the occasional fade-to-black-after-caps-have-changed-hands, but I'd prefer if they left out a complicated relationship/marriage system. There are so many other more important things that it would make sense spending time on developing.
Don't be silly! Before Skyrim I had no idea I could just plop an amulet on and be the most eligable person in town.
Romance, no. six and prostitution, yes. That was one of the things I enjoyed about New Vegas. I enjoyed being able to go to Freeside and pick up just about anything my character's heart desired. Male, female, ghoul...robot. I doesn't have to be dirty, or pormographic, it just has to get the point across, nothing more.
Look, I don't mind the concept and wouldn't mind if it was implemented in game... but really, that isn't why I play Fallout.
I just don't want the developers spending a lot of time on it.
six and romance and not what the franchise is known for.
If they introduced it in an optional way, and it works, fine, then fill your, er, boots...
But no issue if this is left to BioWare and CD Projekt.
Honestly does not matter to me. Would like more representation of all types of character (including the LGBT community) though.
Yeah I think it would be more realistic if we could bang once in a while. Not really a great environment for romance though. I imagine those that find real romance in the Fallout world have to put a lot of effort into it while at the same time staying alive. Not something the PC would have time for. But six, always have time for a quickie. At the most I could see getting intimate with your favorite companion since something like that may just happen naturally, but that relationship having any kind of future would be doubtful.
"Come on Cass just one night! I got Whiskey!"
If they have not improved romance since Skyrim, I would prefer it if they leave it out.
Romance as in the player getting into a relationship? No I don't want that. Romance as in learning of NPC and their relationships such as Christine and Veronica, hell yeah.
Fallout New Vegas handled such things as prostitution in a very mature way. It showed some of the bad things that come with it, such as with the stories of Joana and the other women at Gomorrah and Pretty Sarah.
six was also done well in New Vegas. It wasn't just with Prostitution but we could be with Red Lucy and it isn't just six but the conversations and such we can have with NPC about six.
I would hope Bethesda is more open with it's characters as well. Fallout New Vegas has many openly gay characters with very interesting stories, again such as Christine and Veronica and Corporal Betsy.
I would hope they would go into other aspects such as post traumatic stress disorder and drug addiction. New Vegas does that in spades.
Fallout 3 shies away from six/prostitution (I know there is Nova), drug addition and characters with backstories in general. There is Flak and Shrapnel but (I could be wrong) it is only implied they are a couple.
I understand they have to worry about their game rating, not just in North America but around the world and don't want upset parents. But I didn't see anyone getting bent out of shape over Fallout New Vegas.
If they can pull it off RIGHT, then I would LOVE for romance in Fallout 4.
But of course, to me, "right" is more along the rules of Dragon Age. It would probably only happen with ocompanions, but those are often the most fleshed out characters in the game a lot of the time. I mean, I would KILL for my gay hidden-homo nerd to date/bang/flirt with Arcade.
It adds a good layer of something more than Apocalypse to Fallout, and if done right could actually feel rather valuable.
I would like the prostitue here and there, but no... marriage. *shuddering*
