Romance Animations. ZENIMAX PLS

Post » Sun Feb 16, 2014 7:23 am

I can't be the only one...

This is especially going out to all the roleplayers out there (including me)

Tired of never getting to show your relation ship properly? Tired of always having to do /e (Emote) And the only possible option for /kiss is blow kiss? I'm Pretty sick of that we can't interact with each other. This annoyed me greatly in skyrim also. Pay 500 gold to a mercenary. "Wanna marry me?" "Sure!" *10 years later* "We have yet to kiss each other... I haven't even gotten a kiss on my cheek yet..."

Therefore i have to ask them to get these features implemented...

/Kiss (Mouth)

/Kiss cheek

/hug

More Specific ones:

'Male push female against wall and holds her tight, afterwards he start's to kiss her'

'Female jumps into male arms, giving him a hug'

'male and female lays down in same bed, then lays on top of each other, kissing each other. The bed is limited to 2 people, only 2 people can perform the animation at a time'

Yes you might think I'm Screw'd in the head, but I'm horny (Deal with it). Anyways, Moving on.

How the mechanic work:

'Players have to stand close to each other'

'being married with each other unlocks additional emotes'

'Players have to be friends to perform the animations'

'When the emote is performed to the chosen player, a pop-up will appear: "Female/Male Wants to kiss/hug/etc You" Options: 'Decline/Accept'.

'These emotes works on same gender romances (Female - Female. Male - Male. That is)'

FaQ:

"You are probably a fat dude sitting on his computer watching girls all the time"

To your information, I don't gain weight for some reason, i can eat all i want, still don't get a single pound o' weight. And I like girls yes (And the other gender :c) But I don't think about it all the time.

"We don't really need It, roleplaying is boring as S**T"

Well, to your information, A-LOT of us does actually enjoy roleplaying, not everyone wants to be a hardcoe Pvp'er or Raider.

"Can't get anything In real life? LoL Get a life!"

Not everyone is super models, Sir.

"Waste of time"

So are the point of PvP'ing and Raiding. PvP: Go in battle-grounds endlessly and gain points --> Buy armor --> Repeat. Raiding? Same deal. Roleplayers can do a bit of both.

So, What'cha think about this? I think it's a great idea personally...

I was ok with adding some kind of kiss e-mote (whether or not it's feasible to have "partner e-motes" is another story). Then it all went off the rails. There are specific games for that, and I'm sure you know where to download them...

I can't really think of anyone who would object to the (cheek, mouth, blow) kissing emotes so sure. I don't mind the others, but I imagine that'd be harder to pull off without ESO getting a negative press rep.

How is this tragic? I think you should respect others play-styles and opinions, you sir, are the tragic one here.

/hug would be enough, for me.

I don't know how it would work, though, with the different heights and weights of different characters.

There are play-styles, and then there's ERP. Which, while I wholly support consenting advlts doing their own thing, isn't something the developers should be devoting their time to.

These sound great.

It's not. It's a serious roleplaying features thread for more mature people.

As much as I'd like to believe that, I'm pretty sure it's more of a frivolous feature for hormonal teens.

Again, not passing judgment on what you do with your spare time, but adding six animations for player-on-player action really shouldn't be a development priority.

I don't want to see people cybering and prostituting themselves, or performing those emotes on me when I'm trying to play the game. People in beta were already trying to abuse the very few emotes that could possibly be construed as sixual. Even with an option to accept or decline, people WILL be spamming those emotes on random female toons or PvP opponents, and just seeing the option to decline or accept would be an annoyance.

But even if you could work out a system where people could turn it off altogether, even not see other people do it...I'd be afraid of the kind of players it would attract. If it would turn the game into Second Life.

Maybe it wouldn't be the disaster I'm thinking it would be. I'm resisting the urge to say, "If you want to do that, your imagination should be enough," because you have a right to want what you want, but it still comes down to, "it may as well be enough, because the emotes will never be good enough to do what you want them to do." I didn't use a whole lot of mods for past ES games with sixual animations, but the ones I did use, the animations were just ridiculous. I've never seen sixual animations in a game that didn't look horribly fake.

Please stop playing naive. When you have players taking their clothes off and pushing each other against walls or into beds, the implications are clear.

Once again, I don't give a damn what you do with your free time, since Talos knows I don't want you judging my preferences/kinks. All I'm saying is that this is not something the developers need to devote time to.

Its pretty bad that anything involving romance is shunned in the MMO and RPG community, yet violence, gore, and drugs are necessities tho.
