I've said it before and I'll say it again, because I think it's the best argument against love and romance in TES: there is no way I can think of, in a game like this, to accurately create a love interest for the player without making it shallow, meaningless, and without a hint of genuine love. It would be forced on the player--not in the sense that the player would HAVE to engage in the relationship, it could be optional, but I mean that in order for the player TO engage in the relationship, he/she would have to force his/herself into the role. That takes away from the premise of letting the player be who he/she wants to be.
Oh, and also, what the hell does Illusion have to do with romance or marriage or love?
